Flaminio Village Bungalow Park

Wir waren mit Fahrrädern unterwegs und mit vier Freunden war ein kleines Bungalow für uns perfekt. Gute Dusche, ausreichende Betten und klimatisiert. Der Campingplatz ist sehr gepflegt und man kann bereits um 6:30 Uhr einen Espresso an der Bar des Pools trinken. Alles in Ordnung. Ist halt ein Campingplatz ... bzw. Wohnmobilplatz. Wenn man mit dieser A**osphäre klar kommt, ist das völlig o.k.. Günstige Übernachtung, Supermarkt um die Ecke, und die Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Der Flughafen Roma Urban stört nicht. Alles sehr ruhig.

Séjour horrible nous avons réserver deux nuits dans ce camping avec piscine , en arrivant à la réception personne nous a prévenu que la piscine est fermé , nous l avons su par d autres clients . Le réceptionniste nous dit «  oui désolé la piscine est fermés jusqu a nouvel ordre ! «  super merci de prévenir vos clients ! Aucun geste commercial rien du tout , ça pour vous encaissez l argent ils perdent pas de temps . Sur leur site c était indiquer piscine fermé jusqu au 31 mai et réouverture le 1 er juin. Personne ne modifie le site internet . Route nationale avec énormément de passage de voiture , très dangereuse à traverser ! Camping pas indiquer en sortant du train. Bungalow pas du tout rafraîchi et propreté très limite ! Autres problèmes : la navette normalement mis à disposition pour déposer les clients dans leur bungalow car les distances sont très grandes , aucune affiches pour avertir le client des horaires de cette navette ! Arriver à 20h30 au camping , on nous annonce que la navette est cassé et qu elle ferme à 20h ! Hors on voit la navette circuler dans le camping avec marquer dessus « no service «  Enceinte de 6 mois j ai dû marcher 20 min pour rejoindre mon bungalow avec des chemins en pente et dans la nuit ! Merci à vous camping village flamino ! Aucune communication , aucun respect dû clients , aucun geste commercial Nous ne reviendrons pas et je ne manquerai pas de continuer à dire aux gens de fuir votre camping . Honte à vous !

Appreciated the very relaxing and peaceful surroundings. Grounds area was very very well maintained and clean.

The room was fine. Large bathroom and relatively spacious bedroom. There was a minifrisge. However i wish there was a safe. The bed was comfortable. I have little complaints about the room. The restaurant wasn't very good. There is another restaurant that is like a 5 minute walk away from the hotel property; i highly recommend that one over this lame hotel restaurant. My main complaint is the location. If you want to explore Rome from this hotel, think again. The hotel is only like 5 miles from the colleseum and other attractions, but that distance is very misleading. Obviously there is no parking in Rome, but on top of which, it takes about 45 minutes to drive there. 45 minutes of driving for 5 miles... Public transportation is awful too. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel property, but it takes at least an hour and half to get to the collesuem through public transportation. At least! It took me over 2 hours the first time and almost 2 hours the second time. This is one way too. I spent almost 5 hours one day just navigating public transportation. If you don't care about exploring Rome, then this hotel is pretty good.

This was definitely a unique hotel, but I definitely recommend it! The bungalows were comfortable and clean. The restaurant was great with delicious food and drinks. The pool, although crowded and deep for non-swimmer, was also great. Keep in mind that you will do a lot of walking if you do not rent a car and it is not fun to do with luggage in 100* weather. If you are okay with that then I definitely recommend this hotel!

Great location. Helpful staff. Train station and shop within easy walk. Nice pool. Leafy location. Restaurant on site is fine but not amazing. WiFi in public areas.

Nice comfortable accomodation and thankfully had aircon. Location not ideal for a family as it was a 10 minute walk to the train station for central Rome and that involved walking on the edge of a busy road. Wifi didnt reach our bungalow. In all, was a good stay. Nice piece of green in a big city!

We arrived at around 23:30 on day of arrival (early October). Greeted by a friendly chap. Check in process smooth but a fair walk down to the bungalow we were housed in. Upon arrival,everything seemed ok. Good sized room and bathroom pleasant. Woke up after our second night at around 06:00 bitten to death, to my horror, which we discovered after our fourth night the room was housing bed bugs. We had friends staying in a different bungalow, they also had bed bugs. 3 out of 4 adults were bitten! I will attach pictures as proof. Pool bar area was ok, although staff weren’t the most helpful. The on site pizzeria was good, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Reception staff also hit and miss, some friendly others not so much. Safe to say I definitely won’t be staying here again! Also, beware of the taxi drivers in rome. They like to rip you off. Charged €90 for a taxi from Ciampino, which on the return journey was €50. Train around 10/15 minute walk but beware of the highway, used as a race track by most drivers!

This was amazing camping village with good services. We stayed 2 nights in deluxe bungalow and it was really nice with working ac. After one week training camp it was nice to use washingmachine and dryer. There is good pool area and golfcar that transports you around. Restaurant had delicious foods and reasonable prices. Staff were nice and helpful.
