Extraordinary property in a Borghese villa in a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of everything. Highly attentive service and the food in the restaurant was delicious, particularly breakfast. And fabulous coffee! Highly recommended.

We acutally stayed at the Palazzo Vilon adjacent to the hotel. It consisted of three rooms/Suites. It felt so very exclusive and we were welcomed by the lovely Marina, Helena and Elias who took exquisite care of us throughout. Our room was the junior suite and though there was not a separate living room is was quite spacious. The bathroom was very nice and though in a 15th century Palazzo everything in the interior was updated. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was served in this elegant long dining hall and consisted of every sort of pastry and bread and fruit plus eggs to order you can imagine. They were able to organize a small cocktail party one evening before dinner for soem friends who were also in Rome. If you have the opportuntiy to stay here I would not miss it. The location is excellent but be aware that the driver may be confused as to which property you are staying at - the Palazzo is just down the street from the Hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel in room. Hotel is tucked along a quiet street and easily missed when walking by. It is about 10 minutes to Trevi Fountain and 12-15 to Spanish Steps. A great location. The rooms are well appointed and upscale. Shower large in size, great water pressure with rainfall and hand held, as desired. Beds are comfortable and pillows not too soft. Lovely courtyard view. The hotel bar and restaurant are very upscale and chic. My husband had drinks and enjoyed. We did not eat at the restaurant or use room service. The best part of the hotel is the staff. They are VERY attentive and prompt. We were never greeted without a smile and very warm hello and welcome. They go above and beyond. I highly recommend Hotel Vilon if you are looking for boutique, upscale, small (18 rooms I believe) hotel with attention to detail and superb service.

Beautiful boutique hotel with stellar service, great location and delicious food. The decor is striking, but everything about the hotel is about making you feel at home. Really nice staff in the bar/lounge/restaurant. The concierge made multiple reservations and the dining recommendations were excellent. If you stay, eat at Adelaide, it's the best food in Rome. And the offerings in the lounge are great, too.

We spent 2 days at Vilon hotel. Unfortunately because of of the room nearby under renovation it was very noisy (even at 8 a.m in the morning!). Furthermore none of us liked breakfast. The hotel manager kindly offered us a discount voucher for 2024 which we rejected. Ideally she should have been more proactive in managing a customer complaint.

From the moment we stepped inside this sanctuary we were treated like royalty! Every member of the staff treated us like we were the only guests at the palace. They even remembered that my husband wanted real butter for his toast. It was also like they knew exactly when we left for dinner and replaced all of our towels! The restaurant and bar staff were the absolute best! We even had the honor of breaking in the newest member “Frederico” who is surely to be one of their best assets. He is friendly and attentive in exactly the perfect way! This property is for those who like nice things. Well done.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. Amazing central location, (but very quiet), helpful staff, beautiful decor, fantastic breakfast and the best housekeeping we’ve ever experienced. Everything was spotlessly clean, with thoughtful details - complimentary snacks, super high quality robes, towels etc - just brilliant. If you get the chance - book it!

There are not enough words to express how lovely this property is. But the real superstar is the customer service. It was clear that the staff was heavily invested in making our hotel stay enjoyable. Their respect for their colleagues was evident. The restaurant was amazing and accommodated our special needs with grace and kindness. The concierge staff helped us on multiple occasions. The decor is just exquisite. We loved everything about Vilon.

The best hotel we have ever stayed in! In the world! Chef, Sommelière, staff, food, ambiance, experience, bedding, showered, bar, wine list, location, sauna, Turkish steam room, all were first class and best in the world. We cannot wait to return!
