Its is great location near everything, cozy but the bathroom a bit small but its good to have a free local guild tour program

Very friendly staff at the reception and very helpful during our 3 night stay. The hotel is in a good position for the metro and Other tourist attractions including the colliseum. It's an unusual hotel as it's a typical very old apartment building with 2 hotels on different floors. Our hotel was up a very old lift to the reception then the rooms were on that floor. The first night we didn't unpack as the room was too small to find room for our 2 big cases for our16 day trip of Italy. Shower room was ok. We reception organised another room for the rest of our stay which was a little bigger. The shower cubicle was very small and coming out of bathroom into the bedroom there were two steps, not big but to be honest we found them very awkward as the worry of falling when half asleep at night was an issue. We had aircon and a TV and tea making facilities so bar the step the room was adequate for our stay. Breakfast was ok but not a massive choice. Bear in mind we are in our 70s so for a younger couple the steps wouldn't be so much of an issue but we wouldn't stay here again. Irish bar next door was handy

Very nice little hotel in Rome. Rooms were nice, clean and furnished with taste. Our room faced a side street so it was quiet even if we kept the window open. The location was excellent and we did not use any transportation although we visited all the main sights. Also the main railway station was conveniently close for our train connection to the airport. Best of all was the attitude of the staff. The girls in the reception made us feel welcome and helped us in so many ways. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic cute hotel. 14 rooms, central location Less then 5 minute walk to Repubblica metro. Easy walk to Travi fountain 15 minutes. Or 1 stop on the metro. Hotel is a 3 star rated but 5 star service rooms and location was great. Very comfortable rooms, some small but everything you need. Loved this hotel!!! It is on the 1st floor in a building so doesn't catch your eye at first.

Lovely little gem! We had no trouble finding it, easy walk from the Termini train station. We received a friendly welcome on arrival. As it was still morning, we were able to leave our luggage and enjoy exploring Rome until dinner time. Upon return, we were happily surprised that our luggage was already in our assigned room waiting for us. Our room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and quiet. We could hear a bit of the reception area during daytime as tile does echo, but nothing during the quiet hours when you’d be resting. Wi-fi worked great. Breakfast room was so quaint and lovely variety of fresh items to get your day started. All of the staff were very friendly and treated you like family. We were amazed how quick and easy it was to have a taxi arranged, by the time we got down to the front door it was already there. The area surrounding the hotel is well lit in the evening, lots of restaurants & shops nearby. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Hotel Cortina!

The only positives I have for this accomodation is that the people who work there are very pleasant and helpful and it's clean. We stayed in room 1, which is right next to reception and also over the top of an Irish pub.. The noise was so loud from the pub that we felt like we were in the pub.. It went on until 1.30am all of our 4 nights stay.. We could also hear everything that went on in reception.... The shower in the bath was ridiculous... The bath was so tiny you could hardly turn around... I would not advise for anyone to stay in this hotel if you have a desire to sleep...
