Het was ons, vooral na de onderbreking in 2020 als gevolg van de Covid 19 pandemie, weer een waar genoegen om een weekje in hotel Schwaigerhof te verblijven. De familie Stocker en medewerkers blinken uit door hun vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid zonder enige uitzondering is hun niets te veel om de gasten het naar de zin te maken. Het hotel beschikt over een uitgebreide Spa, vele sport en fitness faciliteiten en een ook voor met name jongere kinderen zijn er veel voorzieningen in de grote speelkamers en de skischool vlak voor de deur. Wij hebben destijds voor dit hotel gekozen in verband met de mooie ligging direct aan de piste boven Schladming-Rohrmoos, maar uit het feit dat wij nu alweer voor de 15e keer geboekt hebben mag blijken dat dit hotel zoveel meer te bieden heeft dan alleen die perfecte ligging. Over de culinaire kwaliteiten bijvoorbeeld niets dan lof en ook ’s avonds is het heerlijk te vertoeven in de gezellige lounges gelukkig zonder après-ski achtige uitspattingen. Het hotel wordt vooral bezocht door echtparen en gezinnen uit Oostenrijk en Duitsland, hoewel er ook altijd wel enige Tsjechen, Hongaren en Slowaken er vertoeven. Vreemd genoeg hebben wij er in al die jaren nauwelijks Nederlanders ontmoet, wel onder de min of meer vaste gasten behoren enige echtparen uit Frankrijk, UK en België. Hoewel het hotel gekwalificeerd is met vier sterren en een superieur vermelding heeft het niet echt de pretenties om zeer exclusief te zijn, wel wordt gepaste kleding aan het ontbijt en vooral het diner op prijs gesteld, hetgeen gelukkig door de nagenoeg alle gasten wordt opgevolgd en de sfeer ten goede komt.

This is our second stay and the hotel which has had major improvement works carried out since we visited 8 years ago. This is an amazing hotel next to the Piste allowing you to take a leisurely breakfast and still get on the slopes early. The staff are hard working and friendly making sure that you have everything to make your stay enjoyable. The 25m outside pool is the best we have ever seen and a great way to relax after skiing. Food was excellent and to a high quality and varied so there was always a challange of what to choose as you would like every option. This is a great hotel run efficiently with the Family at the heart of the team we definitley rate this as the best in the Ski Amade area and will be staying again.

I was in the restaurant and it was all soo delicious Also the service here is very nice I would 100% recommend Yes it is kinda pricey but it’s worth it The atmosphere here was great too I would love to come again

Second time in this amazing hotel, it just get better so we booked next year, again! The stuff, so friendly and supportive, thats above all (and there is much more) that makes this pearl so good. From the reception, to the dining room, the room service, cleaning and any other stuff member are just excellent, no less than that. The kitchen is prepared for every allergy or intolerance needs, the food is on a level of real fine cuisine restaurant. The facilities, including the SKI-OUT-IN, the outside swimming pool, the kids playroom and sport room, the dry area relaxation zone and many more, making the holiday not just skiing in wintertime. The hotel located perfectly on the slopes with all above making it a place you want to come back every year. Its a real "feel like home" place, families especially

Very nice hotel in an amazing location just next to the skislopes. Very good facilities, great food and most of all great staf. The hotel clearly chooses for enough staf and therefore a high service level. Everything is taken care off. They provide skipasses at the reception and rented ski’s from Lenz can be left in the Shiraum and will be picked up by Lenz. This hotel has the right balance between warmth and luxury.

Fantastic hotel, amazing food & service, beautiful facilities and spa, ideal location for family ski holiday. Schladming has a huge ski area, with slopes for all levels of skiing ability. An hour from Salzburg airport, easy taxi transfer or by train.

excellent service, phenomenal food, excellent accommodation. SPA above all expectations. the hotel offers organized excursions for adults and children, yoga and muscle stretching classes, as well as organized activities for children, mostly led by Vera.
