The hotel and lobby look like everything has been remodeled, but the inside consists of very old mattresses, duvets, furniture and carpets. There is a lot of noise between floors, and you can even hear everyone walking in the hallway. The location is good, but I personally wouldn't recommend it.
So I stayed only for the reservation period and moved to another hotel. There are many clean hotels in Riga for similar prices. I do not recommend.

The Forums is a small hotel on the edge of the Old City, an incredibly easy walk from the central train station and the bustop from the airport. It is not a destination hotel -- its rooms are small and sp****ly designed. You're supposed to sleep there, then go out exploring -- and there is plenty to explore within walking distance, all of Vecriga and, a bit further, the Art Nouveau District -- and then return to sleep. The attentive staff made the experience much higher end than the facilities perhaps suggest. Multi-lingual, willing to accommodate last minute changes (because of flight changes, I had to check out at 3:00 AM), informative about the area ... the staff alone would encourage me to return. It is next to an Aussie Backpackers pub, and across from a night club. On weekends, especially, ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

I am 4 nights into a 5 night stay. Hotel in good location 5 mins via underpass from bus and rail Station and where airport bus stops. 5 mins to shopping complexes and in the old town. Reception staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast though repetitive has a good choice and plenty available. WiFi brilliant. Rooms very comfortable and warm. Free shower gel included. Fridge with mini bar and plenty of cupboard space and safety deposit box . Very clean and comfortable a great find and good value for money

Lovely little hotel with access to shopping centers, food market and many historical sites to visit. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Our room and stay was very comfortable. Located in the central heart of old Riga Town, this refurbished hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially for a family of three, travelling for the first time to the Baltic states. From breakfast to room cleanliness and assistance with booking tours to taxi services, we found everything was doable if you just ask. Our hotel was within walking distance of many historical monuments, large shopping centers, tram and bus services. The beautiful cobble stone streets, art nouveau museums and rigid structured buildings of former German, Swedish and Russian influence are reminiscent of how deep the Latvian history is and how much there is to learn about. Forums Boutique Hotel is a wonderful place to stay if ever visiting Riga.

Very easy check in, friendly, we used a private hire taxi, to get to the hotel, waiting at airport , no fuss. The hotel has a lift , it’s very clean, and well presented, the room was clean, toiletries in bathroom and towels. The Tv needed never worked, never complained. As it’s not a big deal for us. The rooms are well heated, the window opens wide to keep it cool. Enough storage in room. Room cleaned everyday. Breakfast is continental, found something to eat everyday

Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Breakfast was simple but nice. Highly recommend to those who wish to stay nearby bus and train station at Riga.
