This was our 2nd time staying at the Black Lantern Inn while visiting family nearby. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. The food is excellent and the staff is very accommodating. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in town.

The meal was outstanding - farm to table! First time trying fiddleheads, and they were outstanding! We met the owners who were very genuine and hospitable. We stayed overnight be had a very comfortable experience!

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Black Lantern Inn for our anniversary. We stayed in one of the suites in the building adjacent to the main inn. The buildings share a parking lot, so it's very convenient to the restaurant. The building is very old, but our room was very nice and super clean. We had a large fireplace in the room. Firewood and things necessary to light it were provided. We also had a large whirlpool tub which was awesome. There was a separate bedroom, with a comfortable queen sized bed. Wireless worked well. The area is real nice. Montgomery is a beautiful New England town with a few nice restaurants within a few miles away. The restaurant at the Inn is very good. It has a small bar which is good for an early evening drink before heading to your room. They provided coffee in the morning, and some pastries. We really enjoyed our stay. We'll be staying at the Black Lantern again.
