Belvita Hotel

Rustige locatie, op slechts een korte wandeling naar het strand. Halverwege tussen Rhodos-stad en Lindos. Medewerkers zijn zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Middagpizza is geweldig, comfortabele bedden en kamer schoon. Redelijke selectie eten in het hoofdrestaurant en van goede kwaliteit. Ontbijtpannenkoeken met lokale honing zijn geweldig. Snacks zijn de hele dag verkrijgbaar bij de bar bij het zwembad.

Voordelen:: Er waren een paar medewerkers die vriendelijk en meegaand waren. Negatief: slechte schoonmaak van de kamer (lakens werden niet verschoond in de 12 dagen van ons verblijf), kamer was erg warm (airconditioning was alleen beschikbaar tegen een toeslag van 10 euro/dag, maar alleen voor het hele verblijf), hetzelfde ontbijt (nul variatie), drankjes zoals frisdrank of cacao waren plotseling niet beschikbaar (niet voor dagen), "smeken" om toiletpapier of handdoeken (ze werden niet bijgevuld in de kamer), erg luid en slecht geluiddicht 's nachts (schreeuwen van het feest - gasten, lawaai van andere kamers, de telefoon bij de receptie rinkelt .... het hotel kan het niet schelen dat het stil is). Al met al is het hotel zeker iets voor de niet veeleisende drink- en feestgast, maar de rest moet afstand houden.

Just got back from the most amazing 2 week stay at this hotel and I can hands down say that it is the best holiday I have ever had. We had stayed here for a week last year and it is amazing to see how much the place has changed in a year! All I can say is trust your gut and do not rely on reviews as I found a lot of them to be a lot different to my own personal experience here! The best addition to this hotel I would say is the animation team. Alena, Barbara and Magda are hands down some of the MOST amazing girls I have ever met and I can say with my whole heart that we have truly made friends for life with them. They are the most hardworking, kind and welcoming people ever and they will always make time to get to know guests and to make sure that everyone is happy and having a good time whilst also ensuring to keep everyone entertained whether it is the pool activities during the day, the entertainment for kids or the evening entertainment such as the movie quiz (I was very competitive). They also arranged nights out with the guests to Faliraki or Rhodos and these were the best nights out I have ever been on! It's definitely a good way to get to know people and to just have a great time with these amazing people! They were that amazing that we have already booked to go back before the season ends in October just so we can see these girls again! The food is definitely something that has improved over the past year, people will complain about the lack of options but I personally think that it really depends on your personal tastes, we found that there was always something you could eat but there were also a good number of restaurants within close walking difference. They also had the opportunity for the alacarte restaurant just outside next to the villas but unfortunately we did not use this during our stay. They also had a barbecue on the Sunday but again we did not use this as we decided to use that day to do some exploring of the island since that was the Animation teams day off. They also had pizza and bar snacks some days at several times. Do not be put off by the reviews as you will never go hungry here!! Big shoutout to the barman Leo who was also very lovely and welcoming to all guests and always had a fantastic story to tell, we even went out for drinks with him one night and it was so nice to chat and get to know him! He also made us special cocktails that you can't normally get from the menu on our last day and they were so good!!! Christos was also amazing as usual and always made sure to check on guests despite the fact that more often than not he would be working on his own during the evenings which would get very busy! Overall I would recommend staying here to everyone, even if just for the amazing staff because they are some of the most incredible people ever and I can't wait to be back in October to see them all again!
