"I stayed at this hotel for one night as my company paid for this, the room itself was clean with a few issues q was the mould on the celling and the paper thin walls so I could hear everything my neighbour was doing in their room at about 06:00 my neighbour woke and at about 06:30 left their room all could be heard from my room but the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming unfortunately as the kitchen was closed I had to eat in a pub nearby I was amazed at the fact the front door was left open all night as crime in the area was zero or as a the barman stated was a minus figure but after all this I would stay again as the staff were great if the staff were not as great as they were this hotel would have been a average hotel"

"Stayed for the third year running at Royal Welsh show week. The accommodation is first class in a lovely old style building. Good parking facilitate at the front. Breakfasts are good and Paul is a friendly helpful host. An excellent stop off place when in the area. Have booked to return for a fourth year."

"Groot hotel, onstuimig schoon, comfortabele bedden, rustige kamers, geweldige welkom van het personeel, veilige parkeerplaats voor onze fietsen, mooie bar, fatsoenlijke prijzen, uitstekende ontbijt met zoveel thee en toast als je wilt. Fantastisch vinden, dankzij ons, zullen we terug zijn."

"Sunday lunch. We booked the table a few weeks ago and just as well as there was a steady stream of people turned away as they were fully booked. Sunday lunch was beef, turkey or salmon for £12.99. We had beef. Pipping hot and large portions, good selection of veg. Three desserts on the menu, tasty that we tried. Highly recommend. Inside, the pub is old fashioned, beams and dark. If that is not your thing go elsewhere. Staff were very nice and efficient. Our bill was ~£60. Excellent value we thought."
