Hotels bij Palace of Tau, Reims

The location is good, close to train station and big parking which is free. Normal breakfast and service. However, the air con was not working in one of my room. They can't fix it and not willing to change a new room.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the Reims train station, but reaching it was more challenging than expected. You need to exit the station through a specific platform exit that’s not easy to find, as there is little to no signage. We took the wrong exit, which added an extra 15 minutes to our walk to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were quite surprised by the reception—or rather, the lack of a traditional one. It consists of just a small coffee table with a single computer, where one staff member manages both check-ins and check-outs while constantly running back and forth to assist guests. Initially, I thought this was just a secondary station and that a more formal reception area existed elsewhere, but that wasn't the case. I couldn’t understand how one staff member could handle all the guests with such limited resources, especially during busy periods. I suspect it could easily become chaotic during peak hours. The room itself was quite small, and breakfast was not included in the rate. However, the hotel had an interesting offer: if we opted not to have housekeeping during our stay, they provided two complimentary glasses of champagne. We were happy with this arrangement, as we usually prefer not to have anyone enter our room during a short stay. We did enjoy our two glasses of champagne at the bar after dinner, which was a nice touch. That said, with no breakfast included, there might be better value options available in the area. It's also worth noting that finding a place for breakfast near the hotel wasn’t easy, with limited options within a 5-minute walk.

Het personeel begon meteen met het oplossen van het probleem met onze Russische vertalingen, ze deden er niet al te moeilijk over en boden ons bovendien gratis een t****e kamer (appartement) aan. Toen ze de lengte van ons kind zagen, zeiden ze dat de bank (bank) niet comfortabel voor hem zou zijn, hij paste er qua hoogte net niet in..., kortom, we waren geschokt! Aangenaam geschokt!) De appartementen zijn enorm, goed uitgerust, zeer ruime badkamer met douche, super schoon! Naar het centrum - maximaal 15 minuten lopen, het is beter om te lopen dan een kamer te huren in een lawaaierig, problematisch centrum (in het historische centrum zijn er problemen: water, riolering, lawaai). Over het algemeen raad ik dit hotel aan!

Everything is what you can expect if you pay 80 euro's per night. Location is actually near perfect, just a small walk to the center. You can park at the hotel too. However, it's was 30 degrees outside when we slept there. It was a sauna inside the room, really bad.

Do consider staying at this hotel if you’re visiting Reims with a car. With a 7-minute drive from the city center, you get a more spacious room with facilities much more than a 3-star. We couldn’t manage to arrive on time for check-in, but they have kindly found out an alternative to work it out. Attached photo displays the outdoor patio to our room!

A good budget hotel for a night on our way back home. Reims is a must to visit for sure! The room was small and it would be hard to use it for more than 2 people. However the location is great and easy to reach from the motorway. And next to the ibis hotel there is Mercury hotel where we went for dinner And it was superbly delicious;))))

Geweldig hotel voor een korte trip. De kamers zijn schoon en mooi, maar wel wat oud. Er is een restaurant in de lobby met een warme sfeer en een spelletjesruimte om te netwerken of plezier te maken. Er is ook een winkel met alle specialiteiten uit de regio, zoals champagne. Ik ben erg tevreden over mijn verblijf en kan het van harte aanbevelen.

Eenvoudig en praktisch voor een kort verblijf. Rustige omgeving. Parkeren bij de ingang, ontbijt in het hoofdgebouw, wat acceptabel was. Badkamer had een bad en douche. Het glas om spatten te voorkomen werkt niet, omdat het veel te klein is en de badkamervloer nat wordt en je het risico loopt om te vallen. Al met al geen slecht hotel voor de aangerekende prijs.

Goed om te slapen en te douchen, maar ik zou het jammer vinden om er langer dan één nacht te moeten blijven. Het is één nacht boven een tent. De tweepersoonskamer is een bed boven een ander bed op de tussenverdieping met een steile ladder om bergbeklimmen te oefenen. Geluid is hier een probleem, omdat het van de buren en van buiten komt. Neem oordopjes mee.

Er is parkeergelegenheid aan de noordkant van Reims. Het parkeertarief bedraagt ​​drie euro per nacht. De kamer is relatief klein en het bed is ook klein. Het is 25 minuten rijden naar de kathedraal van Reims. Het personeel is onbetrouwbaar en verlaat vaak zonder reden hun post, maar dit is de manier waarop Frankrijk werkt.
