George was extremely helpful regarding accommodating my daughter’s multiple food allergies as well as making recommendations for places to dine for dinner. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated in period style but also included some modern conveniences. It was a wonderful get away.

Don’t spend your money with a ****** BIGGET! Spent £80 on drinks, and a friend unfortunately dropped his drink, accidents happen, advised the landlady what happened and that I’d clean it up, she kicked off, got rude, gave us back chat we left! All boils down to colour of our skin, as a local said she don’t like your type! What’s my type? INDIAN? Avoid this place! Greyhound or White Heart pubs are much better and welcoming

We booked to stay here overnight for a wedding that we were attending nearby. I booked the room on a Wednesday, called the Innkeeper and left a message asking about check-in time since we would not be able to get there until after 7. We did not receive a phone call back. I left another message on Friday before the reservation cut off time and still did not get a call back again. At this point it was too late to cancel and I was never contacted by the Innkeeper, actually they did call at 6:30 during the wedding the night we were suppose to stay. We never made it to the B&B. A return follow up call would have been nice, we spent money on a room we never stayed in.

My stay was great. The breakfasts were simply delicious. The room was very clean & spacious.

Interesting house and nice room. On the other hand, the air conditioner did not cool the room and windows could not be opened. Consequently, the room was very warm (warmer than the outside temperature--71 degrees) and uncomfortably stuffy.

We enjoyed staying at the Red Lion on our travels through the area. It was an adorable and interesting home. The Innkeeper was attentive and provided a quick checkin. We slept well and would certainly stay again.

An interesting old property in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had a busy schedule so it seemed like limited food options. Room was clean and well stocked upon arrival. Tight stairs could be difficult for some to maneuver. Overall enjoyed our stay.
