Sai River Resort

Sai river resort is a beautiful place to stay. Nearest railway station is Panvel and Khopoli from here You can get ST buses, ply to Khopoli-Panvel regularly. Autos and other sources also available. One should stay here to feel tranquility and serenity of environment. Rooms are clean and kept in good condition. It has two pools in the resort which are nice. Food also good. They have indoor game terrace place where you can play TT, Carrom. Only, one thing miss which carrom dice are lacks. They also have reception and wedding grounds. Winter season is best to visit. Enough parking is available. Overall, Experience is good.

We have been one of those unfortunate people, who have visited this place. You can't find a worst place than this place to live in with your family members. Last we visited this place was 5 years ago and we were in the awe of the place and now the place is no longer livable. The only attraction is the water park and that too is very dirty. The music is so loud that you can't sleep till 11 pm. If you want to waste your money, please do visit Sai River Resort, Khopoli. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed after visiting this place.

I visited the Sai River Resort at Khopoli, last Saturday. Khopoli is a town that is in the outskirts of Navi Mumbai. It's monsoon hotspot for the tourists who'll flock to Khopoli and the other landmark places like Lonavala & Khandala to enjoy the rains and waterfalls. Khopoli during the summers was definitely a bad idea, but when you are in the company of ex colleagues, you care less. We were about a group of 14-15 odd people, all ex colleagues, who planned this trip and ended up booking this resort. The resort is located right on the old Mumbai-Pune Highway, which eases out the stress associated with locating the place. The resort is a big property. There's plenty of rooms and wooden cabins for the guests. I personally felt that for a resort of this size, the parking space could have been bigger, but nonetheless, we could park our cars comfortably. By the time I reached, my friends had already checked in, so did not go through the check-in process. The reception area seemed small and cramped, and entertaining more than 2 guests at a time may seem like a chaos. In the little that I explored, there were 2 types of rooms - the regular rooms and the wooden cottages/cabins. We had booked both. The regular rooms are pretty big in size and can easily accommodate 2 on bed, and 2 on the floor, with extra mattresses. The rooms are clean, the linens were neat, both, the TV & the ACs were functional. But do note that, at this time of the year, it's so hot that you'll have to leave the ACs turned on for quite some time for the rooms to become cooler. Otherwise, when you enter (especially the wooden cabins) you feel like you have entered a furnace - it's that hot. I am certain, this would not be the case during monsoon or during winter. The wooden cabins are a lot smaller in size, but fully functional and is neatly done up. The wooden cabins come with a small sit-out area where you can relax and enjoy some friendly conversation over beer/coffee. That reminds me that there's no in-room refrigerator, if you need a beer, you'll have to call up room service. There's coffee/tea provisions in the room. Food - breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks - are served in their dining area which is closer to the reception area. The restaurant / dining area has two sections - the AC & non-AC. For the money we paid, I think we got a good deal when it came to food. There was the usual stuff - nothing too fancy - but good enough to offer you some variety. For the non vegetarians, the only option available was chicken. Hotels need to be a little more creative with the non-vegetarian menu, especially, if they are serving chicken two times a day. After a while, even the chicken starts to taste like potato. The breakfast spread was also decent and had the usual suspects on the table - poha, bhurji, missal, idli, bread toast... The resort has a small swimming pool and a large water park themed water zone. You have a few slides, provision for rain dance etc etc. That entire area w

i visited sai river resort this weekend.it was good stay with super exciting water park inside.food was great also.ample of parking place and play area. 2 -3 things laid down me listed below. 1.our room was last wooden cottage near river..it was stinking all day. we had to play in lawn with our face mask to avoid smell. 2,room basin was leaking from the first moment when we entered the room...nobody could fix it .. 3.we reached around 1145am. restaurant didn't have anything to offer for my kid except french fries that too arrived after 30 min they said all cooks were busy in preparation of lunch.this is ridiculous if u said room service is available at any time.. these points had to be taken care of. we would like to visit this place if it is improved thanks
