Regina Blu

Het personeel is behulpzaam. De hotelkamerservice is gemiddeld, maar mist enkele basisdingen, zoals het warme water in de badkamer. Geen douche voor 2 dagen van mijn verblijf hier voor zakelijke doeleinden. We vonden de kamers bij aankomst zo koud en het duurde de hele dag om op temperatuur te komen. Het lijkt erop dat het hotel niet is voorbereid op een koud seizoen, omdat er niet genoeg dekens in onze kamers zijn. Ik vraag me echt af hoe we kunnen doen alsof de Albanese horeca klaar is voor toerisme?!?!

We wilden deze plek echt een hogere beoordeling geven, maar het was een zeer gemengde ervaring. Het positieve: de kamer was ruim en licht, en zelfs op de eerste verdieping hadden we een geweldig uitzicht met een terras. De geluidsisolatie en ramen zijn ook uitstekend omdat we geen geluid van andere kamers of buiten hoorden toen de schuifdeur gesloten was. Het bed was ook mooi en groot en zeer comfortabel. De kwaliteit van het eten, vooral tijdens het diner, was goed en de pizza's zijn een lekker tussendoortje op het heetst van de dag. Ook speciale vermelding voor Orsola bij de receptie die erg vriendelijk was. De minder goed: Service was onregelmatig. Soms oké, maar vaak moesten we obers achtervolgen voor service wanneer we zouden zien dat andere tafels meteen worden afgehandeld. Let ook op de prijs van wijnen!!! Er is geen wijnkaart, dus we kregen steeds een verrassing toen we wijn hadden voor het avondeten en vervolgens tekenden voor de rekening. Het slechte: het strand en de bar zijn een verspilling van ruimte en kunnen zo geweldig zijn. Een van de jongens aan de bar was geweldig en erg spraakzaam, maar de anderen konden geen glimlach vinden. Toen we gingen, konden we niet eens een strandlaken voor de ligstoelen krijgen (ze zeiden dat ze op waren) en toen we een biertje bestelden, zeiden ze dat ze alleen flessen Stella hadden in de strandbar (2000 lek voor twee biertjes!) toen het lokale bier bij het zwembad 250 lek was! We konden daar ook geen eten bestellen, we kregen te horen dat we moesten bestellen bij de receptie / restaurant van het hotel. Ook is deze plek behoorlijk verwijderd van andere plaatsen, dus er is niet veel keuze om uit te gaan naar andere plaatsen om te eten of te drinken. (De dichtstbijzijnde winkel ligt bijvoorbeeld op ongeveer 1 km afstand in een zeer smalle en drukke weg).

This is not a 5 star hotel, 3 star plus at best. The pool is small and overlooks the ocean, which is a great view, however there are only a few chairs and beds which people put there belongings on in the morning and disappear for hours, the pool was full of kids so not a relaxing environment. The beach are has so much to offer and the structures need attention, litter along the beach, which unfortunately is a common problem in Albania. The food for afternoon snacks is poor, however we were very pleasantly surprised by the lunch and dinner offerings. The all inclusive package is poor, the white wine is not drinkable unless you buy separately and then you are overcharged. We asked yo cancel our 2nd night stay and were told no cancellations/refunds were allowed. We stayed the day and left after one night. The rooms were very poor and well below expected standards of what is advertised as a 5 star hotel. A real shame as it could be so much better with stunning views.

A hotel that left us with a very bad impression, the staff of the girls were very friendly, the food was not good, every day pasta and fish,(not enough boiled pasta) we asked for a room with sea view, and we were not left in that room. Unclean sea. I will not go there again.

We booked 4 rooms for 4 couples, we arrived at 8 am, presented the reservations, and they told us that we can check in at 1 pm, not a problem till now. We paied for the breakfeast(we had all inclusiv after we would check in) and then waited in the lounge for another 5 hours…after 5h they came to us and told us that we are not going to stay there and we are going to stay to : Oricon Coast ( in building process ) that its lower on price, lower on “all inclusive” , hot water with portion, building view and sounds every morning, rude staff (as the same At the regina blue, i think the owner its the same), mold smell, the rooms wrenet so clean , and so so more… we paied for something else , at regina blue volre , but they relocated us to a not 5 star resort! And later on first day(wich is today) we found out that others happend the same! Avoid that place, im sure you can find better place than that *bleachs* place that just try to scam ppl and overbook.. The fist 2 pics are when we arrived at regina blue, and the second ones where they relocated us… not worthing the price, read the reviews of oricon coast too, to see how *bleachs* they are!

We've been into several 5 star hotels and this is not one of those whatsoever. -Small pool, closes at 6pm, too early, just 10 hammocks for the whole hotel, never available. No diving allowed, but all kids and even some adults too were splashing all the time while we were relaxing on a chair. It happened so many times that we argued with more than one family, and the staff did nothing at all. -Food was tasteless. Everyday the same things, dessert were just pastry and food, nothing else, pizza and pasta everyday... juices were bottled... small and poor variety. Meat and fish tasteless. -Staff: few of them knew English and none knew Spanish. The looked down at you when they know you are a foreigner and they take advantage of your not understanding Albanian language. -Rooms: they are just OK, typical of a 3 star hotel, not a 5 star one, by far. -All inclusive does not include bottled water. Ice creams can not be served by oneself and so have yo wait long to get a small one. -Beach bar closes at 7pm and you can not get anything after that. Even at night you can sit down in the chill out but not order anything. Why is it then? -Restaurant: waiters don't know English, imposible to make any request or ask for help. They take forever to clean the tables even after telling them there is no clean table available. All in all. Try and get another place to stay. You can take good pictures of the pool, but that is all you can do. The rest?? Unbelievably terrifying. Escape. Skip. Next.

We’re on their boat trip, and I’ve never been on a slower boat. What took us thirty minutes going out is taking two hours coming back. I go wants the return trip to be this long? We haven’t eaten since breakfast, since they told us there would be a restaurant at the final location. They also promised a village on the island, it was in fact a decommissioned and abandoned millitary base. They also gave the wrong price for the speed boat. Everyone on the boat is ill and tired and no one is enjoying themselves anymore. I just want to go home. Please just let us get off this boat

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No hot water or electricity, no service anywhere, not a staff member to be found at the breakfast area. All the hot food was left out cold and you have to pay extra for decent coffee in the morning. Also the beach is deserted of staff, no towels or any kind of service anywhere. The pool has dead flies in it and they have loud parties of people who are obviously not guests till 4.30 in the morning. This is not a 5 star it’s barely even a 2 star hotel. Don’t waste your money.

Such a terrible experience...no parking for costumers...no beach towels.. laud music at night.. food looks good to take pictures but has no taste.. See was full of vegetations. Week service and quality...
