Tinglan Apartment Hotel (Qingdao May Fourth Square MIXC)

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, and I really liked the view, especially at night when all the buildings were lit up. 🌃✨ The location was also a big plus for us. The hotel elevator is connected directly to MIXC Mall, which was super convenient, especially since we were traveling with kids. There are also trains and many tourist spots nearby, so it was easy to get around. The guy at the front desk was also really nice and helpful. He was very kind and always willing to assist us whenever we needed something, which we really appreciated. 😊 The only thing I hope they can improve is the housekeeping and bedding. We stayed for 4 days, and although I didn’t expect the bedding to be changed every day, it would have been nice to have the comforter, mattress cover, or pillowcases changed at least once during our stay. Since we were staying for several days, having fresh bedding would have made the room feel more comfortable and refreshing. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. The location and convenience were great, and I would definitely consider staying here again. 😊

Location strategic and the room is very big, walking distance to their famous biggest mall, and also waling distance to mrt station, even to taidong also very nearbt

Very convenient, next to MixC shopping mall. Counter staff was friendly and gave me extra bottles of water when asked. The room is a little dated but functional.

Qingdao Tinglan Apartment Hotel is located behind the MIXC mall and the lobby is on the 7th floor. The receptionist was very courteous. The room was very spacious, with a small kitchenette and washing machine. May 4th Square is within walking distance so it was easy to go to see the night time light show there. Metro station is only minutes away.

It has an excellent location, me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights, We travelled from England and arrived to the hotel. We struggled to find the elevator for floor 7. However the hotel receptionist quickly helped us via trip.com his attentiveness and helpfulness made us feel very welcome in China. The room was very good with freshly stocked water, towels and even slippers! The room could he cleansed daily by a cleaner. I recommend this hotel if you visit Qingdao 10/1

Great location, but the wait for the lifts is super long. There are many occasions that we cannot get into the lift, there are simply too many guests staying in that building.

The staff upgraded us for free to a much bigger room with 2 queen beds (SGD 100 per room per night) while we were transiting Hong Kong International airport because he said we are 2 adults and 1 child and we booked 1 queen bed (SGD 72 per room per night). The apartment was modern, new, and clean. Comes with a kitchenette and washing machine The apartment has 2 rooms with a queen bed in each room. We could see a bit of the sea from our windows. The apartment is located just next to the huge MixC mall which we visited every day, behind Shangri-La Qingdao, and near to May Fourth Metro Station Exit A2. Very convenient location to travel everywhere! The staff is very friendly and polite. He smiles whenever he sees me. He also tried his best to meet my requirements, I can see that he did! Well done, Guo Jiangjun!

Overall I’m happy with the booking. It’s just a few minutes walk from the rail station. The room is spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. The basic amenities are available and functioning well. One minor issue is the daily room housekeeping did not wash the used mugs which I believe is normally part of any hotel’s housekeeping routine.

I stayed at Tinglan Apartment Hotel for four weeks, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel made me feel completely at home. My room was clean, bright, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. Another major advantage is the direct elevator access to the MixC shopping mall, which features an excellent food court and a wide variety of shops. The location is outstanding, situated in the heart of the Shinan District, with a metro station just a two-minute walk away, providing easy access to the rest of the city. May Fourth Square and the beautiful waterfront promenade are also nearby and can easily be reached on foot. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Guo 郭江军 for his kindness and professionalism. He was always available to assist and contributed greatly to making my stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again in the future.
