The Oasis

I just want to take a moment to commend Mohamet Mokhtar who is the Lifeguard and Pool Operator at the Pickalbatros Oasis Hotel in Egypt. Their exceptional service and dedication to guest satisfaction truly stood out during my stay. Not only were they vigilant and efficient in ensuring the safety of all guests at the pool area, but their kindness, politeness, and willingness to assist with any requests made my experience even more enjoyable. Mohamed proactive approach to addressing any concerns or needs demonstrated a genuine commitment to providing exceptional service. Whether it was offering assistance with poolside amenities, providing helpful tips for enjoying the facilities, or simply greeting guests with a warm smile, their positive attitude never wavered. Their professionalism and genuine care for guest satisfaction are a true asset to the hotel. I sincerely appreciate their efforts in making my stay at the Pickalbatros Oasis Hotel memorable and enjoyable. We loved our stay at the Oasis resort. The resort is beautiful and self sufficient. The staff is extremely friendly and the facilities are all well equipped and you wouldn't need to go anywhere for anything. The food was great as well. The diving center is also great and they provide the best care for new divers and learners as well. Would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing diving resort in Marsa Alam!

Family of 5 adults principally there for diving. Easy booking and good communication direct with the hotel through owners web site. Flew into Hurgada when hotel arranged pick up met us for a 3 hour drive to hotel. Nice traditional feeling bungalow style rooms, spacious, clean and comfortable in secluded location, surrounded by desert and some part built developments. Half board buffet food has many flavourful authentic Egyptian dishes and plenty of it, we tried it all and none of us had tummy trouble. Good size pool to freshen up in after diving and secluded sun loungers. Friendly and attentive staff. Shisha available in bedouin tent. Local wine and beer reasonably priced and decent. The dive set up was well organised with choice of different trips every day. Their own reef has quite a steep drop off but good for deep dives and night dives. Other dives involve a drive from 15 mins to 1 hour depending on location and can be either shore based or boat dives. Good equipment, efficient set up, safety conscious and great instructors (we all did a refresh course and some of our group did advanced and nitrox). We didn't see shark on our trips but plenty of reef fish big and small, coral in good condition and an amazing dive through caverns on one of the trips. Good value although extras such as national park and diving permission fees soon add up!

Beautiful place - perfect for diving and digital detox! The staff is super friendly and the location amazing. Definitely worth it to wake up early to watch the sunrise at the house reef. If you’re luck you might even see dolphins! ✨ Would definitely recommend this place. Ps. We did our “Open Water” and “Advanced” diving course with Katja and Stefan from Wernerlau at the Oasis Dive Center! We will come back! ❤️

Very friendly staff, always trying their best to entertain and help the guests. Many offers and a huge area to walk around. Clean areas and a variety of food to choose from. Drinks could be a bit better, tho.

Nice to get in an Egyptian place and go diving ad be "organised" by local (Egyptians) instead of europeans. Very professional, expert and friendly. One of the best team ever of my (long) diving experience. Thanks again Kiro, Kosu, Mahmoud and all the team!
