Tortuga bay resort is really beautiful and has all the vacation amenities money can buy. It's close to the airport, situated on a golf course alongside the beach that has our villas overlooking the beach. The hotel staff gives an excellent welcoming and service. While house keeping services' our villas to perfection. We will recommend anyone to try and vacation at TORTUGA in Punta Cana. It was worth the travel time.

They do a LOT of spraying here with awful chemicals that are banned in all other developed countries. They spray pesticides inside the bushes and the roads and even on the people. They'll spray right on top of you if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. We tried to enjoy the cool evenings to bike along the complex but found ourselves covered in insecticide by this huge van the puts out a huge white cloud of pesticides. My wife and children and I had headaches and sinusitis for the entire stay. The mosquito spray stuck to our clothes and inside our nose. It seemed like a mix of kerosene and the atrocious spray of RAID insecticide sprayed onto the tourists. We spoke to the staff, who said that they had been doing this for years in order to kill mosquitos. But there are still mosquitos. What I did not see, were bees or butterflies. It's a pity that they have to damage our health and nobody cares. It's quite ignorant to think that a pesticide that kills insects won't kill other living things. All synthetic pesticides harm human health. Why don't they find another way without making us sick or poisoning everything. Overall this ruined our entire experience, as we felt poisoned.

This place is outstanding. It is secluded with excellent service and tasty food. Our oceanfront room included a golf cart to go to other restaurants and bikes to explore the area. The room was clean with lounge chairs and an umbrella overlooking the ocean. The beach was steps away where we had again our chairs, umbrella, and excellent cocktails. We had our own concierge for dinner reservations and questions about outings in the area.

Beautiful location and very high standard of service throughout our stay from the whole team. The hotel has a wonderful beach, which we had to ourselves through most of our stay, and good access to other facilities within the Punta Cana resort. Villas are stylish and well appointed and food was delicious. Recommend.

Amazing! Rooms, food, service everything was top notch VIP. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation (that you can call home) this is the place. Quiet and so beautiful. Just go and experience (I didn’t want to leave) - until next time! Thank you to everyone one that makes this place special.

This was an unbelievable experience. From our arrival, we were met as we exited the plane and escorted into a lounge while they took our passports and did everything for us. The same occurred on our departure. The accommodations were beautiful and a problem with our air conditioning was quickly rectified by moving us to an even larger villa. The staff were some of the nicest and friendliest we have ever encountered. A wonderful breakfast was included and we never even considered having lunch. Every morning our concierge would contact us and ask about our dinner plans. She would recommend and call and make all reservations. They will drive you wherever you would like to go within about a fifteen minute radius at any time. We also had a golf cart to drive around on the very large property. I can’t recommend this resort enough.

Tortuga Bay is a gem. The ambassadors at Punta Cana airport made arrival and departure extremely easy, the hotel is lovely and peaceful, the staff was delightful, and the food was great. There are several great dining options, and both the pool and the beach are beautiful.

Tortuga Bay Resort is a true 5 star resort. Everyone stays in a beautiful villa, steps from the beach. Each villa gets their own golf cart for the duration of their stay. Bicycles are available at no extra charge, too. The service is amazing the staff is amazing too. The resort includes complimentary private transfers and complimentary VIP expedited passport airport service upon arrival and departure. There is a spa available and great restaurants. I can't wait to go back.

As someone who seldomly indulges in luxury vacations at upscale hotels, this is one of the few ones that is actually worth the bucks. The level of service provided by every staff member was unparalleled – they went above and beyond to attend our needs. The facilities were just chef's kiss. The meticulous attention to detail truly set Tortuga Bay apart from other luxury hotels.Tortuga is a hidden gem that exceeded all our expectations.
