Horrible! They moved us to another hotel that was horrible. Hours to check, 5 out of 10 days no water in the hotel, 2 days no electricity, no drinks in minibar even when asked to refill, 2 restaurants were buffet, 4 needed a reservation by buying a $50 bottle of wine, no pool or beach food or drink service, no lights in hallways that were pitch black at night, no towels for pool and beach. Not sanitary wait staff and bar staff would like their fingers, blow their nose and wipe the sweat and then hand you the silverware, a drink or food. The halls were a mess with dirt and debris. The room we stayed in had loose wires hanging from a hole where the light fixture should be. The shower flooded the room and the separate tub and dirt in it when we arrive and was still there when we left. They cleaned the room twice in 10 days. Management said so what whenever I informed them of no water or electricity. My sister fell and tore ligaments in her knee and ankle due to no lights on the stairs and they did nothing.

Nice place , a little dated and poor restaurant choices with the same food and dessert everywhere. Friendly and helpful staff. Had the honeymoon suite with ocean view except we could barely see water!

The grounds were beautiful, and well taken care of. The beach area was nice. The air conditioning and water pressure in the room was inadequate. The staff, for the most part, were very pleasant and tried to be helpful, but were not well trained. The major problem was the food - it was TERRIBLE. It was nicely presented, but was overcooked, usually lukewarm, and not very tasty. There was 5 restaurants and a buffet. We ate at all of them, and none were very good. The best bet was the buffet because you could get fresh fruit and salad, but it's like eating in a mess hall. I would not go back there, and I would not recommend it.

The hot tub was freezing. Service was great if you tip upfront. Do not make arrangements to go shopping with the front desk. Biggest tourist racket ever! The evening entertainment was enjoyable. The restaurant food was good and the buffet was quick. Make sure you upgrade to club status. And the people selling on the beach were annoying. Make sure you pick chairs a little further back from the water so they leave you alone.

This resort was amazing. The whole complex was very clean. All of the staff were super friendly. They have great restaurants. Our favorite was the French one. We loved the drink of the day. The beach was clean and beautiful. There was a great variety of fun daily activities. We enjoyed dance lessons, archery, daily live singers, a circus act and traditional dance performance during the 5 days we were there. Some activities we did not make included a magic show, silent disco and karaoke. Each day we were pleasantly surprised by a special decoration that was left by the staff cleaning our room. We looked forward to seeing how artful they were. Loved my n\massage at the spa. I have rods and pins in my neck and the staff did an amazing job adjusting for this. We would definitely come back to this wonderful resort. Some tips: Make sure to get the daily activity sheet in the lobby so you can make the most of your day. The ****** is small with just some slots. No table play while we were there. Sunrise can be seen to your right when you are on the beach.

Excellent staff , location and clean.
No air condition in theme restaurants, Mexican was stifling. Italian was excellent, food and staff.
Very little air in bedroom of 2 room suite. No difference in extra club status nor in hotel controlling regular members from using club facilities . Should have wrist band identification. If you don't get up early to reserve a lounge chair with your towel or personal items you are out of luck, has to be a more fair system.
Location, landscaping and helpful staff are Jewel Palm Beach best attributes.

Pros and cons…Pros-This is a beautiful resort, beautiful beach, food was good. We were a group of 13 and one of us had upgraded their room so his butler was able to get our group dinner reservations at each restaurant every night we were there. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. The staff was very friendly. Cons-We booked as a VIP ******* member which was supposed to get us upgraded rooms, most of us got that except for 4 of us. Our room was fine except for the shower design was terrible and got the floor soaked every time we showered. The bathroom was small, other members in our group were given rooms with a large bathroom and the shower had a glass door that covered the whole shower. I asked for another room 3 days in a row, each day they would tell us that all the rooms were full and to check back the next day. So I gave up. Overall, I would stay here again.
