Serenade All Suites - Adults Only Resort

All the staff at the resort speak very poor English and it was extremely hard to communicate with them! In restaurants and many bars that require reservations, they give priority to Spanish-speaking customers and ignore those of us who speak English. I felt a lot of discrimination there. Next to the resort is a dolphin park, you can always hear the sounds of animals in that park and their horns during the day. The buffet at the resort is ok, but the food at all their reservation-required restaurants is terrible and takes a long, long time for food to be served. We waited for an hour and a half before we got our main meal at Steak House, one of the restaurants we reserved. I strongly do not recommend everyone to come to this resort, their management is in a mess.

I first want to say that I am certainly not jet-setting monthly and I am middle class, so this trip was a special occasion for our honeymoon/birthdays. So I did a lot of research beforehand. I am so pleased with my decision to Book Serenade!! I truly cannot say enough about this property. We stayed on the adult side and it was so peaceful. The front desk staff upgraded us to a beach view suite as a honeymoon surprise. This place was immaculate as far as cleanliness and the staff was constantly keeping the grounds pristine. I admittedly had low expectations of the food, given past experiences with all-inclusives. I was so pleasantly surprised by the taste, quality and selection of food options. The coffee was amazing and I miss it daily! We LOVED the swim up bar staff - shout out to Omar! We truly had such an amazing time and highly recommend this place! A couple of recommendations: 1) You don't HAVE to do the presentation to invest in the program they offer (similar to a time share,) however we went to it and would have joined if it were in our budget. 2) Grab a towel early in the morning and reserve a pool spot, they go quickly - especially the "fun" pool. But USE the spot. 3) Make your dinner reservations in advance!! (And be kind enough to cancel if you change your plans.) Make sure to book Gourmet once! 4) TIP!! Seriously. Yes, it's an all-inclusive but you will enjoy your trip more by showing some generosity to the staff. They work so hard and are so kind.

We enjoyed our stay at Serenade Adults Only. The property is beautiful and we felt welcome & safe. The sunset on the beach is breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again! Our room was spacious & comfortable. It did not have an actual bathroom. The toilet had its own room, but the shower & tub were part of the hotel room design, which could be awkward depending on who you were with. The bed was very comfortable - wish I could say the same for the pillows. There is plenty of built-ins for clothes and a safe to secure valuables. There is no deadbolt on the door, so housekeeping could potentially enter while you are sleeping or showering if you don't hear them knock. The lounge chairs at the pool/beach were some of the most comfortable I've ever sat on! It took us a few days to learn the secret about getting chairs- keep your towels from the day before and go down around 7 to get your spot. Put your towels or some other item on your chairs. Everyone is very respectful & nobody messed with others things. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. The buffets & Italian restaurant do not require reservations. If you make a reservation for the Steakhouse or Asian, make sure you know which dining menu type they give you. We were given the Brazilian option at the steakhouse and the menu was awful. Service and communication were also poor. Not all of the employees speak English well and communication can be a little difficult. Overall, great week!

Beautiful resort but the beach had a lot of sea**** and the dining options were very limited. The staff was wonderful!

This property was exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was just ok. Not really ever hot food at the buffet. The specialty restaurants were ok. The steakhouse is Brazilian which I didn’t realize.

The property is new very nice and clean, my room was enormous , master suite with 2 kings size bed, in the balcony a Jacuzzi with ocean view, excellent!!! In the room they provide you with everything, also mini bar is included . Excellent food in the buffet, a lot of seafood, fish, salads, fruits. I didn’t like any of restaurants a la carte, I preferred the buffet. It was impossible to get an empty lounger because at 6 am the people already reserved them with a towel, when you went down at 9 am it was all busy in the pool and on the beach, basically I could never enjoy the shade, but that is not the fault of the hotel, it is the quality of people who was there. It is a quiet hotel, lots of elderly couples. The animation team is good but with few activities , I think they give space for everyone to rest. The offer of the bars was very good , there is a bar on the beach and at the pool. I went for 5 nights and it was enough, we had a great time, I would definitely come back, and I liked the proximity to the airport.property is very safe! And stay away from guys who offer a membership, very annoying , I spend almost 2 hours with them trying to get a good discount and everything was just a lie! That was the only bad moment.

Everything was nice ! Just think they should get covers for the food at the buffet !! Believe I got food poisoning also other than that the staff was amazing very friendly & welcoming !!!!!

Really basic resort, nothing much to do except be at the pool or beach but you’d have to wake up super early to try to find a spot becuase by 9am all the lawn chairs are taken and good luck finding a spot. There is no tennis courts and pool tables or tennis tables. Food was also not the best and very stale all the time. My wife got food poisoning from one of the restaurants. The nightly entertainment was very outdated and old. Was very disappointed by the reviews I saw that said this resort was great when it wasn’t. If you need a honest review take this one as it !!
