Overall, the hotel was well located, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. My complaint is our particular room (#11), which was surrounded by hallways on 3 sides and had no exterior windows for ventilation (the result of a poorly planned addition to the building). The bedroom "window" faced directly into one hallway, and the shower "window" faced the back of a sheetrocked-over wall of an adjacent room. Overall I recommend the hotel, but do not let them give you room #11.

The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was over the top delicious. Provided us with a boxed lunch on the day that we had an early morning excursion. We liked it so much that we cancelled another booking and stayed there again on our way back from our northern destinations.

I think that the hotel is overrated. Small rooms, not properly cleaned and inconvenient access to upper floor.

This is a diamond in the rough. From the outside, you would never expect such a nice clean place inside. The room was clean and modern. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. And, a nice breakfast was included. If you just need a clean quiet place to spend the night, this is the place.

The hotel stands by its name and offers good value for money as well as convenience having a little bar/restaurant where you can buy water or have a beer. It has the most comfortable beds in town (maybe with the exception of a few high-end hotels). The only downside is that many of the ground floor rooms do not have a view (more like a garage or parking lane). The staff are very welcoming and accomodating despite some limited English (as they cooperate:)

We stay two nights in this hotel. The room is small but quiet with a large hot water heater and a large bed. It is very comfortable. There is no elevator, but it only has two storey. You need to carry your luggage up to your room. Front desk people are friendly but some with limited English and some are very good in English. Restaurant downstairs is convenient with good food.

Lovely beds with top quality cotton sheets made for a very good night’s sleep. On a quiet street, no views really from rooms. Rooms stylishly designed and recently done. Hot water takes a while to come through in the shower but got there in the end. Friendly staff, lots of smiles with masks, their English was not great and my Spanish was the same! We had dinner here which was very good fresh fish & chips. Breakfast very acceptable as well. Would recommend as a good option for PA, especially if you don’t want a big hotel, I think there are 11 rooms here.
