Falkensteiner Hotel Park Punat

Ok 2-3 It was our 2nd stay. The hotel ie good for families, great pool and activities for children. Rooms are small, but clean and modern. Food is ok for an adult, but definitely not 4*, more like 2* - soups are made from powder, it is basically colored water with, disgusting. Same for desserts and mashed potateos - made from powder not from scratch. There is a children playground - run down and dangerous. Last year it was covered with wasps, this year there were 2 wasps nests and splinters pointing our from wooden attractions. It would be good if children evening activities start earlier - sometimes it started after 9pm, which was a joke for a party aimed to small kids. There is no beach, but within 10mins of walking, there is Pila beach (just concrete stage) with free loungers for hotel guests and you can use golf cart - but sometimes it is not very reliable - last year we ordered golf cart from main beach for a certain time and it has never arrived. Overall, it is ok hotel for families and if you are planning your vacation in Punat, this is a nice option, but keep in mind, this is not to 4* standard at all. It needs a lot of renovation (when it started to rain, water was pouring everywhere on walls, in the lobby, dining area, etc), more care for children safety and activities and definitely on food - I would prefer less options but at least a little bit tasty and homemade, therefore suitable for children.

The location of the hotel is stunning - directly opposite the bay of Punat and so there are amazing sea views from the rooms and hotel grounds. However everything else is not worth the money. Unhelpful check in where we received no information on the hotel and no help with our luggage. It wasn’t straightforward finding our room either. The rooms are tiny and have not been renovated in ages. The bathrooms are straight from the 1970s and are none too clean. The bed sheets are too small for the bed and come untucked every night leading to a poor nights sleep and the pillows are old, flat and lumpy and the reception informed us that there weren’t any alternative pillows or sheets! We had booked half board but the food is not the standard expected for the price paid. It was mainly reheated frozen food. The other hot meals were either undercooked or really overcooked and with heart-attack inducing levels of salt. Clearly there’s no professional chef in the hotel. The desserts were either fresh fruit (the same fruit each day) or cakes made out of dried packet mixes. Drinks with the meal were included but these were all served from a common drinks fountain and so the quality of the wine was poor. Fortunately most days there was fresh pizza which was very good but should you really pay nearly €300/night for a tiny outdated room and pizza? We would not stay in a Falkensteiner hotel again if this how they manage their properties.

- Rooms are really small - Black mould on the corridor on the second floor - Food is not good quality exept pizza and something from the breakfast - Food = some semi finished products (from frozen foods), overcooed pasta - Layout of kitchen area / Too many people storming at once - The sea in front of the hotel is slimy, you have to walk for 5-10 min to a better beach - Elderly people at the hotel in September - Beds are not comfortable at all - Cell tower on the building - strong radiation + Pool area and sunbeds + Kids playground inside and outside + Food variety + Staff ok + Small gym area

Great buffet included, great food for a buffet. Great resort. They have most everything. This is the way. Closes 10/23 till Spring. We went off season so best when not busy. We took a boat swimming tour, but the water was cold. Room was a bit small. Benjamin at the bar was great.

It's our second time at this hotel.

Hotel exceeded our expectations! The location is excellent, and you can choose whether to swim at the beach or in the pool. The staff was friendly, the food was very tasty and varied, and the rooms were neat and clean! This was our forth time there and we'll be coming back again for sure :)

The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and they try to make the stay in the hotel as pleasant as possible. The room was clean, tidy and equipped with all the necessary things. The food is very tasty, varied and freshly prepared. The hotel is in a great location. I will definitely come back.

A nice hotel with excellent staff and an excellent animation team, fun for the whole family, I recommend it to everyone. We especially enjoyed morning training in the pool, afternoon games for children and adults and evenings with open-air cinema and music quizzes. Hope to come back next year again.

First time in this hotel, but we are definitely going back! Hotel is good, but the staff made it incredible! My family and I felt like very special guests because of them. We stayed there for a week with our 2 daughters, 6 and 7 years old, and the children’s entertainment and sport lessons were amazing and loving. They are offering morning exercises and I went every single morning. Especially thank you to Beshoy and Lazar, they are truly professionals, naturally kind people, who made us smile every single day. Aqua aerobic was wonderful, my entire family joined every day, even my small daughters. My daughters couldn’t leave the hotels without saying goodby from the team and they cried and didn’t want to go home. Thank you to Berta and Stella for the mini club entertaining as well! Food was amazing too, good selection, and clean hotel. Can’t wait to get back and have fun with the team again! :)
