We had a wonderful stay at the Sanctuary Lodge just outside of Puerto Cayo. Roberto and his staff could not do enough for us. They all made it a memorable experience. If you are ever in this area I highly recommend this quaint lodge right on the beach. It is a 3 star facility with 5 star service!

First off, Roberto and his staff were exceptional. They made us feel welcome and were responsive to every need, question and concern. I caution people on heading out to find food. Arguably, the offerings at Sanctuary were better than anything else around. I agree with other reviews that the lodge itself is not going to be on par with 5-star resorts. That said, the personal touch and service would see our family return. Other highlights: The boogie boarding is AWESOME right off the shore! Ask Roberto to arrange taxis and tailor-fit to your needs. Watch for dolphins mid-day. Sunsets are amazing.

This property is a place to leave your worries behind... very tranquil.
The heated pool is heavenly, the bolón is the best I have ever had, the staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating and the beach is phenomenal... I have never seen so many different colored rocks in one place.
The rooms are clean, the shower is hot, and the beer is cold. This is my second stay at the Sanctuary, and I'm looking forward to the next.

Sanctury está ubicado en una playa maravillosa, cerca de Puerto Cayo, donde hay muy buena comida en locales de la playa. Muy buena ubicación, un lugar tranquilo, con buenos servicios y un hotel muy familiar que resultó ideal porque fuimos en familia, incluso con niños pequeños. Pocas habitaciones hacen que la atención sea muy personalizada y familiar. Los servicios muy buenos, la vista desde las habitaciones es magnífica. Lo mejor, las habitaciones con vista al mar. El personal y la atención del dueño hacen que todos están siempre pendientes de las necesidades de los clientes. Un excelente lugar, nos encantó.

Sanctuary tiene una ubicación privilegiada. Las instalaciones son muy buenas. Piscina al pie de la playa.
