The hotel is an icon, but it has seen better times. Room was so small and appeared very worn out. Bed was very uncomfortable. Step into bathroom was dangerous. Not what I expected of such an icon of a hotel. Generally felt rundown and unkept. Hope it can have some life brought back into it. No issues with staff at all. Everyone very helpful.

Such a cute little hotel. The bed was actually very comfortable and very clean. We’re right on whiskey row so we didn’t need to drive anywhere. Plenty of food around.

If you're looking for a vintage, authentic hotel on Whiskey Row, this is it. Friendly staff, easily walkable. Would stay here again.

Everything was great but the description is a little misleading. The rooms are super small and it was probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Everything else was great!

It was right downtown, easy to walk around town.
It was a little noisy at night on Friday but it was expected.

The elevator was out of order… the attached bistro was very poor with the hostess didn’t end up eating there at all.
