Acquario Guesthouse

The accommodation is located on a road with little traffic. The beach can be reached on foot in approx. 15 minutes. There is a diving center in the immediate vicinity. The very small "studio" at the back of the property is sufficient for a short stay. There is no view of the garden, but of a green rock face. The very small terrace facing the backyard is not very inviting. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is extended to include fried or scrambled eggs on request. There are no restaurants nearby. There are a few restaurants, a store and takeaways on the beach.

The cottage was very comfortable, close to the beach, and the staff was very welcoming. The manager Nora made us a wonderful grilled fish dinner. It was well worth it! The kitchen had everything you would need to self cater. Good value for money.

Nice apar**ent. It was not far from the diving-club- Whitetip diving center. This was important for me. Nora - the owner of guesthouse- very hearty and hospitable. How delicious she cooks! Ask her to cook dinner for local cuisine! I would like to back to Nora!

We are very glad and thankful that we booked this Guesthouse 👍 The first of all is the location, it’s situated close to the Anse Volbert Beach 🏝 To the diving center, bars/restaurants, shops, take away food, bus stop, everything what you need. The stuff is very kindly and professional ☝️ The manager Nora it’s a very helpful, wonderful and amazing person 👍🤗 We are missing her already and special her food which she cooked for us 😋😋😋 We are recommending Acquario Guesthouse everyone and if we will visit another time Praslin, sure we will choose it again 👍

I cannot recommend this guesthouse more. Nora and her staff are super friendly; the guesthouse contacted us before our arrival to confirm when we were going to be there, and if we would need a transfer, and then when we were checking in, Nora provided all the information that we needed for our stay, including where to go, when is the best time to go, how to avoid tourist traps. She booked some places to visit and helped us find a car. We also enjoyed wonderful home-cooked dinners with local cuisine, which was a nice surprise after our stay in Mahe, where it was hard to find good quality food. The location is also great - a very quiet place, but just a couple of minutes walk from the dive center and from the beautiful beach. I happened to have forgotten my shoes when we checked out and only remembered when we made it to another island - LaDigue, and I was really upset because we were not planning on returning to Praslin. But when I called Nora, she made an effort to get to the boat the next day (which is 20 min drive from the guesthouse), and she sent me the shoes that I picked up at the boat station in LaDigue. This shows how Nora cares about her guests - she makes you feel very welcomed.

We had a fabulous 5-nights stay in the 1-bedroom apar**ent! The apar**ent was very clean and we felt very safe on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with tons of kitchenware items if you choose to cook on site. However, we always ate out. There is one A/C unit in the bedroom and you will need to keep the door open to help cool down the rest of the apar**ent. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Simple but satisfying breakfast served daily. Anse Volbert beach is across the street and a 10-15 min walk to a suitable place to find a place to lay-out and enjoy the water. It's not far if you don't mind not having a beachfront property. Lovely stay!

We booked this guest house for 5 nights especially because it is very close to one of the diving center. Surprisingly, we haven’t met any other guests and we were also alone during breakfasts… probably because it is very poor, I believe it is so easy to remediate ! We had one dinner prepared bu Nora and it was absolutely delicious. However overall, our villa was very warmly appreciated !

Large family room, 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, nice garden and balcony. Room are cleaned every day, towels for the bathrooms and beach are changed as well every day. The team is nice, friendly and helpful. Noah the manager will help you to organize a marvellous stay and if you feel like testing the local food, do not hesitate to ask her: she can cook excellent creole dishes!

Sehr schönes Haus, grosses Appartement, sehr gut ausgestattet mit toller Terrasse. Nur 100m zu langen Strand (bei Ebbe) und 10min Fussweg zum "Zentrum". Nora ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin die auf Wunsch auch ein super leckere Abendessen serviert
