Ik bezocht dit restaurant omdat ik van vrienden had vernomen dat hier lekker wordt gekookt, lokale gerechten met respect voor traditie. Super vriendelijk onthaald en de bediening was top, ik heb genoten van een uitzonderlijke avond tijdens deze moeilijke CV19 tijden. Ik moet eraan toevoegen dat het hier veilig is, voelt goed aan. Ik logeerde in een ander hotel, maar was niet tevreden over de kamer en de service, dus vroeg ik of ik een kamer mocht zien. Ik was meteen verkocht en heb meteen een kamer geboekt en mijn koffer gepakt op de andere locatie. De kamer is groot, met een toffe badkamer, en mooie decoratie op bed dat je verwelkomt, bloemen en handdoek motieven, echt grappig, een fijne detail, de kamer meisjes tonen zo dat ze hun job graag doen. Dit hotel is een pareltje, de kamers zijn echt mooi, met zorg voor detail, heb hier dan ook zalig geslapen. Klimaatregeling is zacht, lakens ruiken goed en zijn fluweel zacht, matras is echt van goed kwaliteit, kamers zijn proper. Badkamer is groot, met frisse badlakens. Mijn kamer heeft een mooie terras met goed onderhouden terrasmeubelen. Er is ook een zwembad, deze is mooi onderhouden, proper en fris. Op nog een minuutje van het strand, is dit ook wel fantastisch, ligging is TOP! Vriendelijkheid en top bediening, 10/10 Properheid 10/10 Kamers, rust, hygiëne 10/10 Restaurant, ontbijt 10/10 Prijs kwaliteit 10/10 Voor mij een topper in Praslin, ik wil iedereen bedanken voor de goede zorgen, personeel en management, jullie mogen fier zijn.

4 beautiful days in this wonderful structure. Very kind staff. Very large and clean room and bathroom. With attention to the smallest details. A restaurant with excellent cuisine. We had a great time and we thank the staff for their professionalism. Definitely a location to recommend.

Don't miss this place if you want to stay a couple of nights on Praslin. This is our second stay and we will be back again. The restaurant is excellent, breakfast, lunch or dinner. The rooms are large, well decorated and spotless. The small infinity pool is lovely with fresh clear water. Last but not least the staff, always with a smile, ready to help. I really had an amazing time at Pirogue Lodge. The location is perfect, on beautiful Anse Volbert with loungers available for free by the hotel. The room was great too, clean, with nice balcony, black out curtains, bidet, fridge, powerful shower, safe, etc. I can't really think of anything I needed that wasn't already there. Bernadette and the rest of the staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The checkout was a bit early, 10am (but actually not that early for the Seychelles, in another place we had to check out even at 9.30!!!) but they let us use the free loungers after that and they made a room available for us to shower and change before our flight. The food is nice, both at breakfast and dinner. If I really have to find something to improve on, I would say the air-con is a bit too loud and the sausages at breakfast aren't great. I recommend sitting on the sea-side part of the restaurant where you are normally greeted by cute little orange birds (they seem to like rice).

Our second week on Seychelles was on Praslin and we wanted to find a nice small hotel which allowed us to discover the island and restaurants. Pirogue Lodge is a great small hotel with a fantastic team of people that welcomes you with a smile and always tries to make you stay as good as possible. We knew Côte d'or was a nice location from another holiday in Seychelles so this hotel was a perfect fit with that location on the island. It was that good and comfy for us that next time on Praslin we go back to Pirogue lodge. Great price / quality level and so easy to switch from the small pool to the beach which is just in front of the hotel. Already looking forward to the next time we go back to Praslin and to Pirogue Lodge.

We have a great stay at this special lodge on Praslin. Wow, the moment we stepped in, the staff were there waiting to welcome us. What is so special is the lodge is close to the restaurant, so easy to jump in and out. The room is spacious and though its by the main road, nothing is heard when you are in the room. Great job team

First and foremost, all the staff at la pirogue went above and beyond after I had come out of a serious accident. I fractured my knee and they accomodated my needs from the day I hopped into that room. The ladies treated me like private health care staff as I was on my own and even helped me get some new crutches on mahe! The food and room was very comfortable facing the seafront and pool. I was treated so well and will definitely be returning for another stay when my knee has healed after surgery. 100% reccomend this hotel. The ice cream and sorbet they gave me was the cherry on top! I do not know where to start. Nadia and all of the staff are amazing. They made our stay a paradise. The service is flawless, from cleaning ladies to bar personel, restaurant and all staff. A big thank you. We love the "nothing is impossible" -attitude and very caring. The rooms are big and tidy, big balcony with sea view. 20 meter walk to the beach and sunbeds were brought to the beach by the hotel. Good nice restaurant. Very nice individual breakfast. Nice small pool to make a short stay before go to room and have a shower. Best ever, good price and highly recommended. /Mikael & Anna

Everything in Pirodge is promising. The beach, the room, the decorations, the breakfast, and most importantly, those staff who made us feel welcomed! Thanks to Nadia, Ed, and Patrick. We just had an issue on the dinner time when we are supposed to eat in the restau but the lady on duty did not allow us to sit on our choices of table because she wanted to stick with her arrangement. I wish she could have been flexible. We ended up not eating there and cancelled our dinner reservation. Other than that, we love our room, especially the balcony. We wish we could stay longer.
