Disappointed with our 5 day stay at this hotel. Unfortunately the promenade outside is under construction which will be fabulous when finished but atm there are views of diggers and workers. The restaurant serves mainly fish with very few alternatives for non fish eaters. Room 309 is very small with twin beds and the view out of the window is non existent. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and supportive. There is not much to do in La Grazie ( Only a few restaurants most of which were closed in April) You need to get a bus to Porto Venere as it’s too far to walk and the road has no pavements. There is a bus every half hour but these are often full. If you want peace and quiet , by the sea, this is for you… if you want a variety of bars and eateries to choose from this is not for you

Great location by the marina in La Grazie (not Portovenere proper which is a 10 minute drive away at the other side of the peninsular) and it is a pleasant walk around the bay. There is street parking outside - not a problem in winter, but I suspect that finding a park in summer might be harder. The rooms are large and spacious, the shower in the bathroom, less so. La Spezia is a short drive away. Excellent coffee at breakfast and friendly staff. The restaurant has an tasty seafood selection for dinner, and there is a large lobby where we played cards in the evening, with a bar. Room was quiet with a small terrace.

Good proximity to Porto Venere. Great location on the harbor. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Small room but clean and comfortable. Would be happy to stay there again.

Everything was perfect except the check in experience with the manager. We got to the hotel hungry, and before the restuarant closed, but he wouldn't serve us, he said too late, but we saw him serve others later. There was plenty of room. Also, no parking facilities and he wasn't helpful in that either. Great hotel, lousy manager.

Quiet scenic location, not many dining options, but nice restaurant on site. Clean, modern colorful room with balcony overlooking water. Good breakfast selection. Too cool to use the pool. Close to bus stop.Would recommend for a relaxing stay.

The hotel staff is very attentive to your needs. The location is wonderful, situated on the harbor. The breakfasts have a wonderful assortment of fruits, cereals and pastries. Le Grazie is not a big town but there are plenty of places to eat at. You will need to check what times they are open and not assume you will find a place open at anytime of the day.

Fabulous hotel in a great location, friendly staff and excellent food. We had a lovely room overlooking the bay and boats, really clean including a kettle & tea bags which is unusual for Italian hotels. The shuttle bus for Portovenere or La Spezia is nearby, so a great place to explore the Cinque Terre without being really busy with all the tourists.

Despite some mixed reviews on here, we really enjoyed our stay. We had a triple room with a fantastic double balcony overlooking the front of the hotel out to the harbour. Clean, spacious and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and the dinner in the restaurant was so lovely, we had a wonderful table outside right up next to the harbour. A nice quiet bolthole in comparison to Portovenere but easy to get there via bus or taxi. We'd highly recommend.
