Mary House 46

Been there before and will go again. Lovely little room. Warm, cosy, tea coffee etc with lots of milk. Comfy bed. En suite. Close to centre and sea. Easily found free parking in the street. V nice continental breakfast, lot of choice and everything ready. And all for around £50 including breakfast!

Stayed at the Mary house for one night as we were attending a party in the area. On arrival we were met by a lady who gave us information on the timings for breakfast etc.. Our room was ample for what we needed on a one night stay. Bed was comfy, shower very small but very hot water. The room itself looked clean but we did notice that there was a lot of dust around the carpet near door frames and furniture.. just needs a good hoover to rectify this.. The green emergency light in the room was a bit of nuisance as it was so bright and lit up the room so the room wasn’t very dark and we found it hard to sleep. I did notice that when returning to our room in the night there were a lot of midgy flies in the room.. can’t figure out why as the Windows were closed, couldnt see any rotten food?? We had paid for breakfast in our room rate but having seen what was on offer we didn’t bother.. Tbh we expected a bit more for the money we had paid breakfast wise.. we were lucky that we found off street parking but I would think that during busy months parking would be a nightmare. Overall the B&B was in a good location for the centre of town

We stayed here for the Elvis festival and it was right in the centre of town near shops, bars, restaurants and pubs (with ETAs!). Rooms small but adequate and continental help yourself breakfast. P&D parking convenient at rear. Host Emma was great!

Very comfortable room,bedding very clean,room was right size for myself. Emma was welcoming. I had a nice comfortable two nights. Location was spot on! Will be staying ere again.Not far from the sea front,shops and beautiful walks. I would definitely recommend Mary house.

Stayed here a few weeks ago ideal central place to do Some visiting while we’re here lady was lovely and accommodating and welcoming. The rooms were lovely and the choice of breakfast was very nice parking could be a bit of a nightmare as it was very busy but we managed to get a little spot. Highly recommended.

Great location right by the town only a couple of minutes away great staff Emma is always pleasant and just let's you come and go no bother ,I was lucky enough to park right outside the bed and breakfast I also paid for breakfast and found the selection fine for cereals and bread
