Hotel Seagull

The pictures are deceiving, what you see in the pic is of the hotel probably during their inauguration. We were booked this hotel by @Experience_andamans, a team that conducts Andaman Tours and they promised a 3 star experience, This is not a Hotel, it’s a Lodge. The Hotel Claims to be a 100% Pure Vegetaian Hotel but they serve Fish and Eggs/ Location of the Hotel - It’s in dingy place in between a shanty location, the width of the road is hardly 8 feet. There was drainage spewed all over the vicinity on the road (see pics) that the stench was unbearable in the room and at the roof top restaurant. No Parking for Cars, just one that is occupied by staff vehicles and other logistics movement vehicles. Property is loaded with fungus and algae all over the rooms, Room size is 11 feet by 12 feet, the cot occupies 6 feet by 5.5 feet leaving you with space of around 1.5 to 2.5 feet around the cot, therefore you open the doors you almost step on to the cot, and from the cot you step on to the Bathroom and vice, literally no place to walk around the room and if you have to keep your bags, you have to leave it on the cot. The room that we were allocated had a little extension into the balcony but that’s covered with a screen (Curtain). Though the team at #Experience_Andaman were aware of our requirement for a rom of four, they were not able to do justice to the requirements provided at Sea Gull as for the additional bed, we had to sleep on the floor The glass of the rooms was covered in fungus, algae and lizards all over the room, (see pics) Food was cooked fresh and served but the roof top restaurant was full of dirt, grease and rust all over the place (see pics) there wasn’t sufficient water pressure / water in the sink at the bathroom (See video) I would never ever recommend this property “Hotel Seagull, at Anarkali, for a family.

Conveniently located close the airport and in close proximity to flag point a tourist destination and the food trucks. The rooms with the balcony are great. The bed is super soft. The staff are courteous and helpful. I loved their Rooftop restaurant which gives a full 360 degree view of the harbour and ocean. A huge shout out to the Owner who resolved the mess made by the travel agent I had booked it via. The owner was kind enough to offer two rooms for me and my family of 4 instead of 1 room which the agent had booked falsely. The owner personally called me to assure best of service and the second room was offered complimentary from his end. Thank you for understanding the need of a guest. Truly appreciate it.
