The hotel is ideally placed in caldas de reis. Beautiful big rooms and a shower that was heaven after a day's walking. However no information given at check in apart from the fact they have a thermal pool out the back and time of breakfast. No mention of WiFi or the fact they have a spa with jacuzzi and stuff in hotel . Also the fact they offer massages and such was not mentioned. I only found this out when I went online to see if hotel opened for dinner I asked at reception about using it the next day before check out and was told it does not open until midday so was no use to me . A couple I met at breakfast were not advised of the services on offer either so it's almost as if its OK to use pool but nothing else A sign in the lift advising where entrance to pool is would save having to wander thru reception in dressing gown trying to find way. A beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities if guests were told about them at check in or perhaps put a booklet in room

Wow!!! This place was amazing ! After a long day on the camino checking into this hotel with the beautiful backyard and pool was heaven. Worth every penny ! Very clean hostel which is styled very nice. Room was a little small but we spent our time in the beautiful garden so it wasn’t an issue. They have a lift so nicely accesible.

GGuest UserTraffic was terrible but the staff offered off street parking for $15 which we jumped on. Room was small but spotlessly clean. They serviced the room daily. Desk people went above and beyond in making arrangements for tours and suggesting places to eat and visit. The continental breakfast was well prepared and displayed. View from that terrace overlooking the city. When you first get into the area, you have concerns about the neighborhood. Once you are settled, realize that it’s the graffiti everywhere but the area itself is average folk…Just like us! Within walking distance of old town and pedestrian shopping street.

GGuest UserPluses We stayed a wonderful four weeks in this lovely hotel from late July to late August 2022 , using it as a home base for extensive travel around western Galicia. Staff were very responsive and helpful. No request was too much trouble for them. Excellent estuary views on the side facing the ria and partial estuary views on side facing car park. Good, varied breakfast available. Attractive bar with light meals inside facing car park at back of hotel. Main restaurant and Bistro face the ria. Rooms comfortable and pleasant with excellent views from 'internal' glazed balcony with wall-to-wall picture windows. Outdoor pool area facing the ria was well tended with different seating areas. It opens late and closes late by UK standards as it stays light until late in this part of Spain. Bar service available round the pool. Generally, cleaning was good throughout. Staff wore masks. Minus Indoor Spa pool was payment only. I did not use ot as tge weatger was mostly very goid so used tge putdoor pool. It looked pleasant. Was not very big and every time I asked the price at the Spa reception I was told a different answer. It might have been a language problem. I could not see the price prominently displayed but perhaps it was written somewhere in Spanish. Reception had told me to ask at the Spa reception. The dining tables by the pool are for the restaurant menu only at lunchtime. No pool snacks available. However, bar service is available round the pool and there were two or three bar tables with seating next to the ria. Personally, I wore a mask in the breakfast room when not eating. Very few people did so aart from tge staff. I would have liked to see more bottles of alcogel around and disposable gloves to wear at the buffet for handling implements. Everytime I took something from the buffet I popped out to use alcogel or wash my hands before eating. There was no real outdoor area to take breakfast so I opened one of the picture windows a little near me each time to get some fresh air. This contrasted with the situation at the Makedonia Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki where we had stayed recently and where there was a bottle of alcogel on each table and guests had to wear masks and disposable gloves at the buffet.

I enjoyed the balcony over one of the main streets of Vigo, the proximity to the old town and many more things. All the staff were very friendly, approachable and polite at all time.

El hotel es bastante bueno, instalaciones muy limpias y profundo muy amable. Cuando viajo suelo mirar las valoraciones y me gustaría haber leído la realidad del hotel. Una cama de matrimonio muy grande pero una habitación muy pequeña sin apenas ventilación. Baño también interior y vistas a un patio que tocaba casi la ventana de al lado . Habitación muy oscura . Muy claustrofóbica, Nos comentaron de cambiarnos pero nunca se produjo el cambio porque no habia más que 4 habitaciones exteriores por planta. Garaje precio de 16€ diario, muy estrecho en cuesta y con curva imparable casi entrar y salir teniente que meter los retrovisores para poder entrar .A los alrededores solo hay zona azul. Ubicación buena, restaurante con personal muy agradable y comida de diseño muy bueno también. El único problema el desayuno, si bajas un poco tarde no hay muchas cosas y la leche sin lactosa fría, no hay microondas.

GGuest UserIt was located perfectly in the city center. 15 minutes of walking and you are in the city centre, historical and marítima. Staff is amazing friendly and cozy. Room Was clean and big. Bathroom was good and big. Wife is excellent. The only problem can be parking if you are coming by car since there is limited space.

AAlcantaraVery good location in the centre of the city, close to the port, commercial area and old town. Gardens and picturesque surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quite small but always clean. The bed was very comfortable.

El alojamiento eran 4plantas, las cuáles 2 y3 había ruido,cocina bastante sucia, la verdad es que optamos por no cocinar ni usar nada. Estabamos en un cuarto sin ascensor, la habitación que nos toca en un principio era menos de 4 metros cuadrados, donde había 2 camas, perchero, silla, televisor, y mesa de noche. Todo en ese espacio, con lo que conlleva moverse 2personas y 2 maletas...Buscamos algo económico donde nos daba igual compartir baño, pero que estuviera limpio. Y ahí está el problema cuando vamos acostarnos, una cama da olor a pipi de ratón, y tras una noche ahi, nos damos.cuenta, que es el colchón, no la ropa de la cama, que por cierto, estaban sucias con pelos y sin sacudir. Además, ese primer día usamos el baño ( estábamos solos en esa planta) y el lavamano estaba llena de pelos, de afeitarse, por tanto no se limpió. Al comunicarle a la recepcionista,limpiadora y responsable, nos.dice que esa habitación estaba cerrada pendiente de que el seguro les diera una valoración por humedad, pero ahí estaba abierta para sacar dinero, en esas condiciones, nos dice que no.hay ratones, pero vemos trampas por el suelo. Bueno, nos cambian a una habitación más amplia, con ropero y más limpia, ahí estuvimos dos noches, pero esa última, en la planta baja ocurre una pelea, se oyen gritos, golpes, hasta las 2 y allí no aparece nadie. Lo comunicamos, decidimos irnos, pagamos 8 noches, de las que usamos 3, para más INRI, nos vamos, la ofrecen, lo sabemos porque la recepcionista nos dijo que si volvíamos teníamos que quedarnos en otra habitación que ya que esa estaba ocupada. No devuelven la parte proporcional, sino que a los días nos reclaman el dinero porque no habían visto que el pago se hizo incluso antes de la llegada.

GGuest UserSound proofing not great as the wooden floors get creaky. But noise beats quiet eerieness. Good place to start for the last 100km of camino. Walkable to church and the pier area. Only 1 small convenience store nearby, so difficult to find supermarkets in Portugal.
