I booked (for 11/11/2022) via a third party, and due to some negative reviews, I decided to email the property directly through its website. I got a reply from Hospitality Services Management that "our property has been closed for months now. Unfortunately, we are not accepting reservations. Call your agency to make sure the correct name of the hotel. It could be a misunderstanding." The name and address are exactly the same. Now I had to call the third-party website (memberdeals.com) and my credit card (that's why I always use my AmEx for reasons like this) to dispute the charge. Why is this business still listing rooms for rent on so many third-party websites AND its own website if it's not taking reservations except to try to defraud people of their hard-earned money! People are expecting a place to sleep, some unsuspecting when they arrive and it's not open?! Absolutely terrible! Thank goodness I double-checked before arriving!
