Hotel the Palm

Geweldige locatie, midden in het hart van 5th Avenue. Personeel was aardig. Het zwembad was geweldig. Dit hotel aanbevelen

The service was good. I had a good time staying there. I also enjoyed the the roof top swimming pool.

We kwamen om middernacht aan op onze incheckdatum. De kamer waar we binnenkwamen rook beschimmeld. We waren zo uitgeput dat we maar gingen slapen. Toen we wakker werden, lag er een plas water in het midden van de vloer, afkomstig van de AC-unit er direct boven. Bij verder onderzoek van het gebied bleken er schimmelplekken te groeien in gebieden in de buurt van deze plas water en douchemuur (ik heb foto's). Toen we bij de receptie klaagden, zeiden ze dat ze ons niet naar een andere kamer konden veranderen. Onze enige optie was om te upgraden naar een loft of genoegen te nemen met die kamer. We hebben ******* gebeld en ze waren ook niet behulpzaam; het gesprek werd verbroken of de vertegenwoordiger verbrak de verbinding, hoe dan ook, ze belden niet terug. Een ander stel met hetzelfde probleem benaderde de receptie. Uiteindelijk hebben we geüpgraded naar een loft (het andere koppel deed dat ook). We vroegen ons af of dit een tactiek is die ze gebruiken om mensen te laten upgraden. De hokken zijn zeer ruim, wat leuk was om onze bagage in de voorkamer te bewaren, maar er groeide schimmel rond het doucheglas (richting de vloer). We hebben gedoucht met sandalen aan omdat de tegel er twijfelachtig uitzag met beschimmelde plekken. We hadden nog steeds een leuke tijd omdat we ervoor kozen om deze details onze vakantie niet te laten verpesten. Deze plaats is gunstig gelegen nabij alle actie en het is gemakkelijk om vanaf daar rond te reizen. Houd er rekening mee dat als u besluit hier te boeken, de accommodatie liefdevolle aandacht nodig heeft. Je kunt zien dat ze iemand hebben betaald om een ​​waardeloze update uit te voeren (behoorlijk slordig). Ze hebben een geweldig zwembad op het dak en het restaurant serveert een goed buffet.

The staff is extremely arrogant and is oblivious to customer needs. The room had no microwave, no fridge and no water bottles were given except on the first day of arrival. The swimming pool is as good as non existent. Jacuzzi was out of order. They could not provide us with a bottle opener or with ice. The room cleaning was sporadic and not done everyday. Except for the central location and comfortable beds, this hotel does not have anything else going for it.

Nice hotel, clean, just off 5th ave. It was pretty noisy at night with multiple bars playing loud music close by. Would stay again as it had great value

What we did like was the lovely courtyard and Sofie up at the rooftop bar and pool area. Everything else here was below expectations. The suite we had had a refrigerator that needed ice to keep items cold. But, they won't give you ice or an ice bucket for your room. There is no microwave or coffee maker in room. They did not have enough blankets for the rooms! We bought blankets. We wanted to use the hot tub and asked if they would heat it, they said "we close in 30 minutes". I asked, "will you heat it tomorrow?" and was told they would speak to someone about it. It remained cold for the week. Our double shower only worked on 1 side - and only had hot water intermittently for about 90 seconds per shower. And each morning for your breakfast you must go to the front desk and ask for a coupon then back up to the roof to receive your food and beverage. There are no walls around the dining area so if it rains you all huddle together - no food leaves the dining area. 2 years ago this was a good place. not anymore. Management/ownership has changed.

This property is run down and barely clean. The hot tub wasn’t functioning. The pool area needs to be scrubbed and repaired. The room was clean enough but the towels were dingy and rough. The location is great but noisy.

Palm has a stunning roof deck with a bar, offering fantastic views, decent drinks and food. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying the vibrant a**osphere. Be aware if you have rooms in the front side of the hotel it could be really loud from the clubs directly in front.

Our room 310 was a nigh**are. The nearby nightclubs were so so LOUD, the whole room shook until 5 AM. Only on the 3rd night, we were moved to 009 THANK GOODNESS! THE LADIES AT THE FRONT DESK RESCUED OUR PRECIOUS VACATION!!!
