Hotel Las Madrigueras Golf Resort & Spa - Adults Only

Very quiet hotel, nice pool, but spa and fitness are not 5star hotel quality

Outstanding hotel with wonderful staff. We visit the hotel 3 times a year and will continue, we love it and we don't play golf. The only negative which is really annoying is the ONE towel per guest around the pool which the management introduce a few years back. This is totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel and would ask the management to change this ridiculous policy.

This is a really lovely hotel which is perfect for golfers , spa seekers or just some peace and quiet . It’s close enough to Las Americas and Los Cristianos if you want a night out. The team are very nice and we will return . The breakfast is super with lots of choices .

We have had the good fortune to visit this hotel for the last eight years. We normally visit for two weeks three times a year. It is always an excellent experience. We have stayed at eight of the best ten hotels in the World. The Las Madrigueras is as good or better, So much so that we have decided to only holiday in future at the Las Madrigueras. The rooms,restaurant,golf,pool,service is first class. What makes this hotel outstanding is the staff. They are so friendly and attentive. Many have been at the hotel for years. They all seem to enjoy their work. A credit to the Management. We will be back in April and December.

arrival 11th October, the hotel sits on higher ground skirting the golf course it owns. The reception is beautiful and the doorman helpful. Room 6 a duplex suite is in my opinion the worst room of the complex, having no brochure views of the pool or golf course from which we decided upon this Suite. I pointed this out to the reception and asked for a different room. Only 4 in the hotel so no move. Downgrade us to give us a view was met with a denial hotel full, even though other guests were being moved throughout the week, Jet2 was no help here as the complaint was addressed 3 days into holiday. My view on the hotel. is mixed, a beautiful building filled with wonderful guests but the management in particular have an air of arrogance. The restaurant matradee one good one bad, no names mentioned, we did comment on this, the waiting staff were excellent and at the end of the week we will miss them. Other guests suggested we check our bill and indeed it was wrong,but put right upon clarification. The tvs for us in english kept dropping out and the bedroom tv did not give us english for the first 2 days until it was fixed. The air con is adequate and a haven to cool off in this exceptional week of hot weather for the time of year. but it does not attain the set temp rate. and 21 degs was best we could get during the night time. and given the size of the rooms it never will. it looks to be a central controlled system. The golf course was a pleasure to play, variation and elevation nicely set around some water features, you a paired with other golfers from the hotel with fill in from external bookings, it is also reasonably priced given the buggy is free to use during your stay at the hotel, Pool and bar for us was used to dip and cool off and never looked overcrowded. The terrace dining experience was fantastic watching the sunsets as we ate over an hour for the 3 course fare of offer. enough variation for a week. but Felt some of the specials were not to the stannard of the set al a carte menu. In all, a fine hotel with a relaxing atmosphere but away from the centre of anything. shortcomings spoilt this experience which doesn't come cheap.

THE MANAGEMENT DOES HAVE AN AIR OF ARROGANCE, WHICH CAN BE VERGING ON UNPLEASANT! THIS IS NOT AN IDEAL ATTITUDE IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY…..THEIR APPEARS TO BE AN ABUNDANCE OF THINGS ONE IS NOT PERMITTED TO DO OR HAVE, DINNER OUTSIDE UNLESS BOOKED MONTHS IN ADVANCE, NO FRUIT JUICE IN ROOM, AND YOU CANNOT ORDER FROM ROOM SERVICE, ONLY USE BUGGY TO GOLF COURSE ONCE AND ONLY ONE POOL TOWEL ALLOWED…..I COULD GO ON…

Recently returned from a 5 night stay celebrating my wife's birthday. Warm welcome on arrival, check-in effortles as we have stayed here before so most details were on their system. The room we were given was excellent, however my wife loves her bath and this room did not have one. As the stay was a special birthday occasion for my wife, I enquired at reception if it was possible to have a room change with a bath. Receptionist was understanding & accomodating and was able to provide us with the room change. The rooms are all of a high standard, spacious and clean. Pool area is excellent with plenty of loungers & umbrellas. We had evening meals at the hotel's Bogey restaurant every night (which is also where breakfast is served). There is a very good menu choice and the standard of food was excellent. During one of the evening meals we were slightly let down by the service. Minor thing, but it is a fine dining restaurant so should not have happened. Breakfast is very good which includes a cooked to order menu choice. Our room was serviced every day with a turndown in the evening. When returning to our room on my wife's birthday there was a chilled bottle of Cava waiting, which was a nice touch (thank-you). The staff at the reception, restaurant and throughout the hotel are engaging, welcoming & friendly. This hotel is an oasis where you can easily relax. We will return.

A five star paradise isolated from the ‘concrete’ jungle around it. Right on the golf course with your own buggy, locker for clubs and a breakfast to savour. The staff were very helpful; the pool table fun and the spa very quiet. Peaceful and tranquil compared to some of the other hotels around the golf course
