Kamezí Boutique Hotel Villas

Over het algemeen hielden we van Kamezi, maar er waren enkele momenten waarop we het gevoel hadden dat er niet goed voor ons werd gezorgd. 3 dagen voor aankomst bij de villa's werden we tijdens onze vakantie gebeld met het verzoek om onze saldobetaling te autoriseren, aangezien de creditcardmaatschappij deze in de wacht had gezet - onze boeking vermeldde duidelijk de betaling bij aankomst - als dit was gevolgd, zou er geen sprake zijn geweest van een probleem omdat we onze pincode hadden kunnen invoeren en we niet gestoord zouden zijn. Bij aankomst was ons welkom zeer teleurstellend - we hadden van tevoren een e-mail gestuurd om onze aankomsttijd door te geven, maar de villa was nog niet klaar, dus we kregen het advies om weg te gaan en later terug te komen zonder aanbod van een drankje of zoiets - alles wat ze wilden was voor ons om het papierwerk te ondertekenen en ze vroegen onze vertrektijd!!!! Er werd ons verteld dat ze ons zouden bellen als de villa klaar was - het telefoontje kwam nooit. We keerden terug na het inchecken en kregen onze enorme villa te zien - wat is er gebeurd met de tv op de bovenverdieping? - afstandsbediening aan het bed, maar geen televisie - alleen een lege ruimte - heeft de vorige gast hem geknepen?!!! Er werd bij het inchecken geen melding gemaakt van de aanstaande sluiting van het restaurant, de delicatessenwinkel en de pods - ook al maakt de website veel aandacht voor de pods. Na 2 nachten zijn we verhuisd naar een geweldige kleinere villa met een prachtig terras - bij het ophalen van de sleutels hiervoor werden we nog steeds niet op de hoogte gebracht van de naderende sluiting van de faciliteiten. Na een dag op het strand keerden we terug naar onze villa en ontdekten dat we 7 gemiste oproepen hadden en ik had 3 gemiste oproepen op mijn mobiel bij de receptie - toen ik contact met hen opnam, kreeg ik te horen dat ik een stroomstoring van een dag kon verwachten - waarom niet een bericht, WhatsApp of sms achterlaten in plaats van constant bellen? Er was een grote villa tegenover ons 'privé'-terras en zwembad, die zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving werd gebruikt als tijdelijke keuken - dit betekende dat de deur die uitkeek op onze 'privé'-ruimte, in plaats van één of twee keer per dag door gasten te worden gebruikt, permanent open was, telefoon de hele dag aan en uit, personeel en elektrische buggy's gaan heen en weer en luidruchtig gebabbel vanaf 07.00 uur. We hebben dit bij de receptie ter sprake gebracht en gevraagd waarom we niet van tevoren waren gewaarschuwd - dit werd met onverschilligheid ontvangen. We vroegen of we via de receptie delicatessenartikelen konden kopen terwijl de winkel gesloten was en adviseerden dat dit de dag ervoor om 16.00 uur moest gebeuren, dus NEE! We werden de dag voor vertrek gebeld met de vraag hoe laat we vertrokken - we hadden hen deze informatie al verteld bij het inchecken. Bij vertrek kregen we te horen dat we nog onze rekening moesten betalen - toen we erop wezen dat we al hadden betaald, verontschuldigden ze zich vervolgens. Samenvattend is deze plek geweldig, maar het ontbreekt ernstig aan een deel van het personeel bij de receptie dat voldoende is opgeleid. Huishoudelijk en restaurantpersoneel was geweldig.

This was our third visit to Villas Kamezi, and we enjoyed it as much as the first two (in 2019 and 2023). As with previous visits, everywhere was spotless and well maintained, the staff were extremely helpful and eager to ensure that we were having a good time, and the villa was super comfortable. The deli has expanded the range of goods available, and there is now a bakery on site. Breakfast (delivered to your door) consists of lovely fresh ingredients and there is sufficient to cover a light lunch as well! This is certainly the place to relax and recharge your batteries - it is difficult to leave to come home!! I'm sure we will be paying a fourth visit sometime........

The perfect spot for a Lanzarote vacation! Beautiful Lanzarote-style villas with fully equipped kitchen, terrace and heated private pool. Very clean rooms, attentive staff, great breakfast in your villa. Especially beautiful are the caves overlooking the ocean for a Tapas menu or a cocktail. If you look at the pictures on their website: it’s really THAT beautiful. We‘ll be back!

Although we booked several months in advance we weren’t told that the leisure facilities/spa would be closed for renovation during our stay. We were told we could use the facilities of a nearby hotel but we didn’t feel like doing that. Also, we could hear the angle grinders carrying out the renovation work on a daily basis which was very annoying. (I notice other reviews also mention noise from renovation works!) We had a very nice dinner in the Ocean View Pods which we had booked well in advance but the next night we ordered the dine in room service which didn’t go well. Having ordered 90 mins previously as directed in app, the food didn’t arrive. My husband had to go to the restaurant to remind them as there is no way to contact them vía the app. Dinner arrived 30 mins later. Not great. The bedroom was lovely, bed comfy and the lounge and tv facilities were very good. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was ok but a bit boring to have exactly the same thing for 4 days.

Just returned from this amazing villa. We stayed for 6 nights. The villas are large and the pool is incredible. We stayed in a four bedroom Rustic Villa, 6a. The villas have all the facilities you need. The staff are super lovely and so helpful. Cannot do enough for you. The supermarket nearby is great, but slightly more expensive than the ones in Playa Blanca. Taxis into Playa Blanca cost around €7, about a 10 minute drive. I would highly recommend the Kamezi, 5 star

This is quite simply, the best hotel I've ever been to. The villas are gorgeous - everything has been thought of, from coffee pod machines, White London toiletries, throws on the sofas, barbecue area, clothes drying area.... special touches everywhere. The kitchen has everything you need - having a dishwasher and washing machine felt like a real luxury. The lounge has an enormous TV with Netflix Prime,Disney and Apple TV. The bedrooms are gorgeous with really comfy beds and bed linen. However, the real stars are the staff. They take customer service to a whole level. It really felt like nothing was too much trouble....I felt pampered and taken care of. I never want to go on holiday anywhere else!

We recently celebrated our honeymoon in Kamezi boutique villas. We were treated so well by every member of staff. We enjoyed a couples massage, we used the thermal suite twice and the peace and quiet was next to none. The ocean terrace view was outstanding and the cocktails were out of this world! Jillian the events manager there, made us feel like we could ask for anything and she made it happen. The housekeeping crew came in every single day and the villa was kept spotless. The reception team were always welcoming and were happy to help with everything. The private pool was amazing and the complex in general was immaculate. 100% recommended, we would have stayed longer had we known how amazing it was, when booking.

Beautiful villa - perfect for our hen do, peaceful, clean, idyllic. 5* and more, the staff are wonderful, kind and helpful. The complimentary wine and bread on arrival was lovely. The villa was pristine, clean with fresh towels and room service daily. A small walk through the grounds and you are at the beach front, 15-20 minute walk along and you have restaurants and bars - nothing too rowdy! out the front of the complex is a 9 minute wander to a supermarket and more bars and restaurants. The on site spa is stunning, a complimentary 1hour visit was very much enjoyed!

The most relaxing, beautiful complex of villas with everything you need on site. Spotlessly clean. We arrive late and there was a selection of food waiting for us in the villa which was great. We had preordered a delivery from the market to be there for us when we arrived so were set up from the start. Our pre booked continental breakfast was well worth the money as there was enough for lunch too. An hours personal spa was a bonus. The kids loved it. A good selection of restaurants/supermarkets just a 10 minute walk away if you didn’t want to go into town (a good 30 minute walk along the prom.) Check out was noon. Our pick up was 5.30pm but there was a courtesy room which you could book so didn’t impact our last day. Will we be back? Definitely!
