Hotel Pere III El Gran

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Although it was a bit challenging to locate initially by car, it's amazingly well located just steps away from that main plaza and the old town behind it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious with a huge window that could be opened offering a wide panoramic view of the square and beyond. I really enjoyed my stay here, will certainly come back again next time I need to be in the area.

el jueves hago reserva vía online por Tripadvisor Llegó al hotel y la chica que tiende me dice que tengo que pagar al checkin, Inocente de míRealiza el pago it me dan mi habitación, Sorpresa es el día siguiente que quiero realizar otra reserva veo que De los 170e Qué tenía en la cuenta el jueves Solo quedan 12 € Ya que tripadvisor me Cobró vida online Notes me cobró a las el checking, Me paso toda la mañana hablando con recepción Trip advisor y con banco Pasándose la Culpa el uno al otro, Sobre las un email de medida finalmente me Notifican que me van a ser la devoluciónLos del hotel Gratificación de mi banco online de que se Ha hecho una devolución de un recibo, mi sorpresa es al ir a sacar mi dinero Que no Me deja sacar mi 1 euro Compruebo banca online Y si están los 75 € Intento sacarlos otra vez y otra vez negativo, Llamó al banco lo me soluciona nada llamó al hotel st tampoco Saben nada ellos ya han Efectuado la devolución.... Al final me dice la chica de recepción Qué cuando devuelven o cancelar un pago lo retienen 10-15 días hábiles... Comentó que no dispongo de más dinero inglesito dormir si no me quedó la calle, 70 cancelar la devolución y Me de una habitación Qué se mismo precio mismo hotel...Me dice que solo puede hacer Qué me busques la vida, mi abuela Me envía 55e y Mi padre me Dejara nosotros quince euros a las dos dos media cuándo Salga de trabajar, Le comento a la recepcionista que me faltan 15 € hasta las 14:00), Por cuántos descaro y la poca vergüenza me dice que no se le falta dinero aquí no me puedo quedar, Claro que no tengo dinero si lo tenéis vosotros retenido mi puto dinero!!!! Ellos por toda la cara buen coger mi dinero por dos partes doble y lo devuelven cuando quieran Pero a mí me dejaron en la calle hasta las 2 que conseguimos 15 € que faltaba.. Tal que me dinero Todavía lo tienen ellos y a saber cuándo lo recibo, Y porque me di cuenta que si no Me cobran el doble por la habitación y Aquí No ha pasado nada, Smart sabiendo que no tengo dinero estoy tu fin de semana aquí Si no suturo no han sido capaces de ofrecerme una botella de agua un mísero trozo de Pan duro

El hotel estaba muy céntrico,fácil aparcamiento,el chek in rápido y sencillo,personal muy amable ,atento y resolutivo,hotel tranquilo y sin ruidos,estuvimos muy agusto.

Receptionist not very welcoming on arrival. Maybe she was having a bad day as she was better as we left. Lift out of order. Not good for my disabled wife.

Situated in front of a plaza, it is a fabulous location for walking everywhere. Lots of restaurants and incredible bakeries all around. Beautiful shops. two blocks from bus station. The hotel itself is not new but it is well kept and it is very nice. The rooms are spacious, simple but they have all I needed for relaxing and resting: a small refrigerator, a hairdryer, a good tv. The folks working at reception are very accommodating, professional and friendly. There is a coffee shop in the nice lobby. The room attending service was excellent. It got a bit noisy with a room full of young children next door but it was only for one night. I truly enjoyed my stay at “El Gran Hotel” and I love the city of Vilafranca del Penedes. I will be back.

It was very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful, spoke perfect english, helped us with booking tickets, and shuttle to the airport.
