Fijn binnenzwembad voor de koudere dagen. Jacuzzi fris, het grote bad lekker warm. Buiten 2 zwembaden. Onze accommodatie (app met 1 slaapkamer en 2p slaapbank) was verouderd, maar heel ruim en schoon. Enige nadeel: gehorig (muziek café of mensen op de gang). Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en werkt hard. Ze doen er alles aan het je naar de zin te maken. Leuke animatie!! Kinderdisco, circus, sport en spel, karaoke. Het eten vonden wij gevarieerd en lekker. Veel keuze! De kok stond bij elke maaltijd te bakken (ei, zalm, pannenkoek). Ook voldoende keuze uit drankjes. De 'snacks' zijn restjes van de maaltijden (brood, fruit, salade). Soms wordt verse patat, hamburgers, pizza etc gebakken. De (PlayStation) gameruimte is er niet. Dit is een hok met wat flipperkasten en automaten. De bus naar Alcudia stopt achter het resort. Het strand is 15/20 min lopen. Voor ons + de kinderen was het een heerlijk verblijf! Prijs/kwaliteit vinden wij goed.

Prima hotel voor iemand die de massa niet opzoekt. Halverwege de week van onze vakantie merkte dat de Duitse gasten vakantie hadden hierdoor was het iets drukker maar merkte je eigenlijk weinig van. Bijna elke avond is er entertainment maar dat moet wel je smaak zijn: van een coverband naar een dans of magic show. Het eten is voor iedereen iets. Kinderen, vegetarisch, vlees, vis. Ja het is in bulk zoals in elk all in resort. Maar de koks doen er alles aan om het aangevuld en warm te houden. De kok bij de bakplaat doet ook goed z'n best om de voorraad aan te houden voor de verse pasta, gegrilde groenten en de vis of het vlees. De locatie zelf, let er op dat vanaf het vliegveld nog ongeveer 60 km rijden is. En heb je een transfer via je touroperator dan kan dit (in ons geval) nog 2,5 uur duren voordat je bij het hotel bent. Zit je niet All-in? de lidl zit tegenover het hotel. Naar het dorp is het ongeveer 15 minuten lopen, maar er rijdt ook een treintje , voor en weer 4,50 pp , ideaal voor een dagje richting het strand. Op vrijdag is er een markt tussen 9 en 14 uur.

Helaas komen wij hier niet terug. Het park is mooi aangelegd en netjes onderhouden. Appartementen zijn schoon maar meubilair is sterk verouderd en het ruikt erg muf. Het zwembad is schoon en netjes. Het is echter veel te druk. Om 7u sochtends begint het handdoekje leggen al, hier wordt door het management weinig actie op ondernomen. De muziek bij het zwembad staat de hele dag ontzettend hard, niet echt kindvriendelijk voor een familiehotel met veel kleine kinderen. Ook bij de shows (waaronder ook de minidisco) staat het geluid veel te hard. Het eten is niet vers en erg wisselend van kwaliteit, de meeste dagen was het lauw en smakeloos. Ik snap eigenlijk niet waarom dit hotel zoveel goede recensies krijgt. Teleurgesteld!

Lovely staff, helpful and friendly. Place is kept clean at all times. Swimming was fabulous and on colder days a heated indoor pool available! I asked for a kettle, got one on deposit no bother? All in all we relaxed and enjoyed it here and loved beach n town. Will return.

This hotel is not too bad. Rooms are tired and dated and no kettle in our room, which I think should be as standard. When we asked at reception, they told us all their kettles were 'rented ' out and there were no more. We ended up boiling water in the microwave, not ideal. Pool and pool area Spotless. Only tea/coffee/hot water machines in dining room on for breakfast. The pool bar had hot drinks but closed at 6 30pm. Beer ok. Food ok, but not too our liking hardly any chicken dishes at all,fish and meat in oily sauces. Breakfast good, selection of hot food ,pastries,eggs etc. Dining room staff very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay here again

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights all inclusive. The hotel staff was always very helpful and on hand. We arrived well after midnight and we're still offered food and drink at the restaurant. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. Playground in shaded area was great for children to play even on the hot day. Restaurant had plenty of food to choose from during meal times, and selection of snacks and fresh fruit were avaible throughout the day at the pool bar. The rooms themselves were a bit dated but clean and fresh towels were provided daily. There was a small kitchenette with a hob but it was useless as there was no kettle or pot to use. The fridge looked old and was quite noisy. Local town was lovely with beautiful beach, just 15min walk away from the hotel.

Just had a 3 night stay all inclusive with a group of 6 brothers and sisters in our 60’s. Great staff, food and value for money, Having stayed in 7 different hotels in Can Picafort this hotel is well due a refurbishment. We booked 3 rooms and were unfortunately given 3 rooms in totally different blocks which was quite inconvenient. Rooms spacious but with dark brown cupboards and furniture 25 years out of date. Microwave and stove ( not necessary as All inclusive but not kettle). Toiletries basic, ie, just a soap dispenser. The UK channels in our room were unobtainable but in other rooms working. A hazard to point out are the pavement Lights on the way to blocks 2 and 3 not working ( take a torch) quite dangerous, apart from that all good.

My husband and I spent a week all inclusive at Vell Mari Hotel let's just say we're not disappointed. The staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent something different every lunchtime and evening, our room clean daily, very pleased with our accommodation. We will definitely be back. We would recommend this resort to friends and family.We had a great, relaxing & peaceful holiday.

Bathrooms full of rust. Torn bedlinen and pillowcases. Fridge full of rust. Would not sleep cook or bathe here. Avoid this hotel. It's not a four star. Photos tell the real story. Don't be ripped off and find somewhere else. We left and found a decent hotel. Best decision ever.
