La Casa Degli Archi

Absolutely beautiful apartment, clean and stunning. Unfortunately minor problems that should have been dealt with before our arrival, especially that other reviews had left the same comments time after time. Two hairdryers supplied in the apartment, neither were compatable with the electric sockets, both were replaced on our second day. No bottle opener, come on management we are in the heart of Italian Wine producers and told to ask a nearby restaurant to open our bottle of wine ? The kitchen is well set out with lots of beautiful serving plates etc, however no kettle, no pans. There is a super hob but it’s completely redundant. The owner was available by tel, he did seem irritated that I needed the hairdryers to work as we were due to be out early on our first morning. We were told by a message that our check out on the 3rd day would be put back to 10:00 due the inconvenience, we then received another message saying we would have to be out by 9:30. Gorgeous apartment but felt a little let down with care and service. The parking is difficult but you can find somewhere in the newer part with a 15-20 minute walk, that was fine as we were aware beforehand. It really is a special town.
