Columbia Beach Resort

Dit was verreweg de BESTE ervaring die we hebben gehad op ons prachtige kleine eiland. Het personeel is ongelooflijk uniek, vriendelijk, nam initiatieven en zorgde heel goed voor ons! Mr George in de ontbijtruimte, restaurantmanager Panagiota, die altijd haar best doet om ervoor te zorgen dat we de beste tijd ooit hebben! * we zijn meerdere keren teruggekomen en aten bij Cape Aspro, zelfs toen we geen gasten in het hotel waren en de service was altijd top! Anna uit de keuken en Petar die ons bediende waren ook geweldig! Merk op dat we veganisten en vegetariërs zijn en dat het hele team, van de chefs tot de barleden, extra voor ons zorgde. Onze huishoudster Marites zorgde ook super voor ons en ons pak op zo'n professionele en vriendelijke manier! En altijd gevraagd of we het naar onze zin hebben en of we nog iets nodig hebben. We hebben ook genoten van de spa en het zwembad. Ik kan nog jaren doorgaan! Boek en ervaar dit ongelooflijke resort zelf. Het is het helemaal waard!

We had a superb stay at the Columbia Beach Resort. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. All our requirements were catered for and the service is exceptional. Our room (The Eagle’s Nest) was spacious and clean and we had a beautiful view of the bay. It is a tad expensive, but you get what you pay for which is a wonderful memorable stay.

We stayed at the hotel only one night for the first time. I couldn’t fault the hotel it was beautiful, very clean! Staff were so helpful!! This made the stay so much more pleasant! Our room was fantastic really huge! We got a family break deal with dinner. We were allowed to use the facilities after check which was great! Overall a lovely stay! Would love to come back in summer!

We had a wonderful stay once again this hotel. As always everything was excellent. The staff are extremely pleasant. Everything' is absolutely spotless in the rooms. The grounds and gardens are always very well kept.

Absolutely incredible place and service. The rooms are huge and they have a cooker and microwave. The breakfast is incredible, you have a high rate buffet but also can order fresh French toast or pancakes or crepes or waffles or eggs or omelette etc. The coffee is proper, not just from a 1nbutton machine and is free with breakfast Huge shout out to the staff who are absolutely incredible. They are so professional and go above and beyond for you. The person I was with cannot walk far so they have us lifts round the resort on the buggys which made a huge difference. There are small shops nearby and lovely restaurants. Highly recommend Perry's cafe and the restaurant at the hotel. Happy hour is 5pm to 6pm daily, the wine is excellent. The cleaners were awesome z did a turn down service with chocolate, we got Nespresso coffee in the room, good tea etc. Got a welcome and farewell drink for free at the bar, they printed off bus timetables, valet parked the car. The spa is relaxing though the hot tub isn't as warm as it could be or as powerful. The pools are both nice, outside not heated, inside heated a little and us very pleasant. Steam room and sauna are very hot beware. Loungers are great though I imagine in summer it gets busy. Beach is stony but if you walk left it has sandy bits. The sea is lovely to swim in. There is a hiking cliff walk 1 min away. The gardener's have outdone themselves. The whole resort smells and looks like the garden of Eden. So many gorgeous local plants . You apparently can't drink tap water in Cyprus so they give you two small bottles a day but you have to buy more. There is a kiosk nearby where you can get 6 big bottles for 3,40 but it's frustrating to buy water. The staff are so lovely though and they go out of their way for you. Honestly can't recommend this place enough. Oh and they have about 15 cats and they take them to the vet and feed them and look after them and any strays get adopted by the hotel and looked after too. They are well behaved and only in the garden of the hotel. It's really great. But the hotel could be more environmentally friendly, they are okay and the bottled water is not plastic etc but if they had solar panels for their energy that would make a big difference. This is true luxury. Felt like a celebrity or royalty. And the staff are so genuine and kind and other patrons really friendly and lovely too.

Having been recently married in Cyprus, we returned to the Columbia for our minimoon. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The suite was beautifully appointed, the staff were kind, courteous and polite, the hotel is fabulous and the food in the restaurants is interesting, tasty and well presented. Thank you all for a memorable stay. We'll be back soon.
