Hotel Amalfitana

Hotel nabij het centrum (toren van Pisa). Parkeren op straat sterk afgeraden (we betaalden voor een box in een parkeergarage voor minder dan 24 uur, anders hadden we de hele auto uitgeladen) Kleine kamer aan zeer drukke straat. Hartverwarmend welkom. Continentaal ontbijt (koffie, croissants, beschuit, fruitsap voor 3€!). zeer goede warme chocolademelk

Nice place and it's just near the Pisa tower, good value for money as well. And many restaurant that you can choose for near the area, their food is authentic and delicious and for sure you will ask for some more. Our vist was so good and we really enjoy.

It's a wonderful, friendly budget hotel. Would definitely stay again. Very easy from train, abt 15 mins on foot.

Very nice location; however the elevator sucks and the room we were given had the air conditioner working terribly.

As stated in other reviews the hotel is pretty basic. However it is clearly rated as 2 star and is not trying to deceive. The room and beds were clean and comfortable enough. The air conditioning was very good. There was a large bath towel for each person. The hand and bidet towels in the bathroom were tea towel material. Perfectly adequate and we had no issues. Despite reports that there were no power sockets, we had one each beside the beds and there were a further two beside the desk. No problem charging phones and the wifi was fine. The hotel is very well located. It took about 15/20 mins to walk to the Pisa Centrale train station. £38 euros for 2 adult returns to Florence an hour journey if you catch the quick train. About 30 mins to Lucca. A 5 minute walk from the hotel and you are at the Tower. It was extremely busy during the day. Each evening after dinner we walked the few minutes to the Tower. Lovely - still a buzz about it but much quieter. The hotel restaurant had good pizza. The street behind is pedestrianised and there are loads of eateries. We enjoyed our stay. Not luxury but we felt comfortable and safe. What more can you ask.

We get the room quite a way, need not to wait! The room was clean and staff was very kind! The food in the hotel’s restaurant was very good! Thank you very much! Arrivederci!

Excellent location - easy walk from train and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Staff were nice and helpful. Attached restaurant was excellent. AC worked well. Hotel is good value, but had a few small problems (as expected at this price point) like one of the mattresses was uneven and the toilet tank sprayed water out of the top so we had to put a towel over it. Would still stay there again all things considered.

Nice little hotel, friendly staff. Convenient breakfast for 3€/person is available and a great deal to start your morning.

Literally right down the road from the Cathedral and Bell Tower. Maybe a 6 minute walk with food and shopping right around the corner. A little bit longer (16minutes) but still an easy walk from the train station.
