OYO Hotel ST.Petersburg-Clearwater

I had the worst experience ever! Not just because the hotel was disgusting, but because after doing the check-in and going to the room, everything was terrible, the room was suppose to be non smoking and it has a strong cigar smoke smell among another bad things, and although knowing this was a 2 start hotel we were expecting at least the minimum, cleanliness and good service, none of this was found in this terrible place; we decide to cancel the reservation the same night, they refuse to return my money, and more than that the manager did not care about the situation, he dared us to but a bad review, mentioning that he did not care. I did my review and he had the gall to reply saying that he apologies and will take care of the problems, wish is truly a disrespectful answer to me as a client, since he really did not cate about anything. I JUST WANT MY 432$ back. The Manager Mr. Patel was rude, no customer service skill at all, did not care about my situation, he stole me.

Don’t bother unless you’re into overpriced cockroaches … and … ********** … and …drunks … and … unfriendly management … and … raunchy smells … and overflowing garbage outside your room … trash infested ****s / dead grass … the list goes on …. That being stated- the front desk clerk was alright, the house keeping staff were good when approached for toiletries, and the pool man was fun. New management/owner kicked everyone out for a supposed “makeover”. To them I wish them well and good luck! Oh, shout out to the Mexican restaurant- love the pineapple dish, delicious 😋

I have stayed here 4 times..NEVER ANY BUGS OF ANY KIND. I think some folks must be unhappy with anything they get. Yeh the manager not very friendly but for the price ,location, and cleanliness ..yes it is clean... Then your getting an awesome great deal so who cares if he not friendly. My only tip is don't use the laundry..it does take your money. Other wise great place great price

We stayed here on 4/29 and the roaches were everywhere. We had to check out at 4am and I am fighting with the hotel to get my money back. I have never stayed in such an awful, disgusting, dirty place in all my life. I didn't even know places like this existed. They should be ASHAMED!! I also filed a complaint with the Pinellas County Depar**ent of Health.

If I could give 0 stars I would its bed bugs, roaches and hairs all over the room. The VERY RUDE man at the front yells at you for telling them about their bugs (: and then denies you and your boyfriend a place to stay when you have nowhere else to go. and then when you finally have to threaten to report or get a refund they suddenly pull a room out of thin air, then you get to the new room and the beds are unmade with a wet shower like it was just used (:

I had no issues. I don't get where people are saying there was bugs and all that.. I seen none.. our room was out dated but very clean . I think some of you want Champaign on a beer budget. Bayside was fine and the pool was good too. Only issue was washing machine likes to take ur money . Other than that ..no issues.
