When my wife and I travel we always search out a Hampton Inn as first priority booking. Anyway, we had checked in and received a handicap room which was ok because that may have been my fault at booking. When I entered the room (212) I couldn’t believe how “dated” it looked and very unusual for a Hampton Inn, wallpaper coming apart and the heater was controlled by a remote. We had to leave to meet some family for dinner so I could not address the issue at the time.
When we returned several hours later the issue remained with the heating unit and remote. I took it down to the front lobby desk and explained the situation to the girl attending and she forwarded to the night manager I assume. She immediately said that should not be happening and asked if she could go to the room to see if she could fix the problem. After a quick diagnosis she said, this is not right and offered another room which we accepted. The next room (215) definitely meet the standards of a Hampton Inn 😁.
Another person certainly noteworthy (Stephanie) was kind, courteous, my wife says adorable, is an asset to any organization.👍👍👍
