Hotel heeft een prachtig uitzicht over de zee, zeker vanaf het mooie zwembad. Kamermeubilair en badkamer toch wel veroudert en moeten echt geüpdatet worden, maar de kamers zijn netjes en schoon. Rondom het hotel moet het nodige onderhoud gebeuren, zeker aan het wegdek, maar alles oogt schoon. Veel trappetjes en hellingen, goed voor je conditietraining. Ontbijt is uitgebreid en gevarieerd, prima, ook het uitzicht vanaf het terras is schitterend. Het personeel is fantastisch, zo ontzettend attent en aardig, super! Wil je met de auto het eiland rondtrekken, is dit een toplocatie.

Mijn vriendin en ik zijn een week verbleven bij Kefalonia Bay Palace en wat een prachtig hotel! Het hotel ligt op een berg naast een authentiek dorpje aan de haven waar je uitkijkt op de zee. Er is een mooi groot zwembad aanwezig waar je helemaal tot rust komt. Het hotel is niet al te groot waardoor het geen druk verblijf is. Let wel op als je slecht te been bent, want je moet veel traptredes klimmen. Met de warmte was dat niet altijd makkelijk. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, de kamers worden netjes schoongemaakt en het ontbijt was prima. Voor het diner zijn er genoeg gezellige restaurants in het dorpje te vinden waar je lekker Grieks kunt eten. De ligging van het hotel is ook ideaal aangezien je in het dorpje een auto kunt huren en daarmee gemakkelijk het eiland kan verkennen. Zo zit er op 15-20 minuten afstand een heerlijk strand met helder blauw water en ligbedden tegen de prijs van een drankje. Kortom een ideaal verblijf. Als wij ooit nog naar Kefalonia gaan dan verblijven wij zeker weten bij Kefalonia Bay Palace!

The staff went above and beyond when inclement weather occurred and we needed some travel advice. The property is beautiful quiet and our own room was private we arrived before the restaurant opened but enjoyed the large continental breakfast on the balcony each morning. Overall recommended stay in Kefalonia.

Lovely hotel offering splendid views.
Only stayed here for one night due to another hotel in Sami area letting us down on arrival ( Dimitris Studios) despite having booking confirmation and prepaid status.
The Kefalonia Bay Palace saved the day for us. Hard to evaluate a hotel with only a few hours stay but the few hours were perfect.
Staff excellent also but the hotel does require strong legs as the approach and interior is all based on steep climbs.

The hotel is very pretty with stunning views of the seas, the wonderful staff who are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble - peaceful area short walk to the harbour for bars restaurants and supermarket along the coastline, would recommend

Wonderful views in a stunning location! Had a wonderful weekend stay with Friends. Rooms are clean with incredible views. Facilities in the Hotel was good, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet location but within short walking distance to good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. A perfect place to spend your time relaxing or taking an excursion (reception arranged this for us). I would highly recommend!

A soleless hotel made for mountain goats No bar facilities. Cold breakfast (cold baked bean’s bacon,eggs). No toaster (it broke) young staff that needed training. We arrived early to be charged 45 euros to checkin early as our room was still occupied. The hotel was empty 👎 !!! Why couldn’t they just allocate us one of the empty ones.

This hotel is amazing, view alone makes it 100% worth it. The staff were so kind and friendly, went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. The breakfast was lovely, we ate in the restaurant for dinner twice and the food was absolutely delicious. Such a quiet hotel, it felt like we were there on our way most of the time even though there were other guests. The location of the hotel is perfect, Agia Effimia is gorgeous, plenty of options for food etc. Small beaches are absolutely gorgeous and perfect if you prefer quieter beaches with not many people there. Our room was clean and tidy, no complaints at all. Pool was excellent, pool bar available with drinks and snack foods to buy. We don't drive so one of our worries was not being able to get about to see other parts of Greece. The hotel has a taxi service and can call taxi to take you anywhere you want to go for very good prices. We had one of the best and most relaxing holidays we have ever had at Kefalonia Bay Palace!
