There is no lack of charm at SMUC- the staff are warm, the a**osphere is amazing, the food is top notch, and the activities are so thought out! There is nothing that they didn’t think of to create a luxuriously cozy feeling,

We've stayed at a few UC Locations and are trying to visit as many as possible. While the staff was incredibly kind this was our least favorite UC experience. There were a few reasons. First, the food at this location was lacking. In the past we have loved the food at UC Zion and Grand Canyon, here it was pretty average especially when considering cost to value. We ended up eating away from camp more that we would have in the past. Secondly, much of the camp staff seemed pretty green and unable to make expert recommendations. We asked for trail and restaurant recommendations and were let down with what we got from staff on both fronts. Overall the camp is beautiful, but we would likely say that this Under Canvas is skippable compared to the others we've visited.

I had a wonderful time at Under Canvas. The area is beautiful and the campsite is very well conceived. The staff are extremely friendly and professional.

We just returned from a wonderful visit to Under Canvas Smoky Mountains. The property was beautiful, the tents were clean and beds were very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent! Will plan to visit more Under Canvas sites in the future.

The camp was quiet, the food was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We just went for a one night get away and it was perfect! We stayed in a tent with a bathroom that was a giant plus!! We ate at the restaurant there, food was great! Fire pits were lit at night for everyone to hang around. Staff was extra nice! Loved the wood stove in the tent! I have told everyone about this place! Can’t wait to go visit other locations!

I don't have time to make this review long, but staying at Undercanvas was very special. Just like a hotel but outdoors. The staff made you feel like you were at home and had a chef working for you! It was just awesome. Really nice people, beautiful place. They are generous with their amenities like coffee and water and it really adds to the experience and makes it easy to enjoy! Good times!
