Sofitel is an elegant brand and is often located at the heart of the city. The Philadelphia location is perfect for those who want to see the city and is luxurious enough to stay in for some rest and relaxation. There's a restaurant in the lobby. In walking distance are some of the best restaurants in the area as well as historical attractions. The room included a King bed, a roll-in shower, and many other amenities. Because I was here for a conference, transportation to and from the convention center was available. Next to the convention center is the Reading Terminal Market. However, if you like to walk, the sites are amazing and the Reading Market is only 1 mile away. Hidden costs were disclosed upon check out. You might want to ask about that from your travel agent or the hotel management.

酒店位置很好，適合旅遊，房間佈置也不錯，空間比較大。標準入住時間是下午4點，早晨7:30飛機到達的，等到下午2:30才有房間，比較辛苦。還有一個問題，退房超過一週了，至今入住時的按金還沒有退回，聯繫酒店，回覆要5-15工作日退按金。其他美國酒店都是離店1-2天就退回。對於長時間旅行的人這種操作不友好，佔用資金。

The hotel is under construction, which we didn't know. Fairly unsightly and hard to find the front desk. The rooms and baths are dated and seem unclean even though they might not be. Nothing like the photos. Staff were WONDERFUL though and the restaurant had good steamed mussels.

The hotel notified us in advance that there was construction happening. Even with the warning, we did not expect the construction to be so disruptive. I have loved Sofitel properties in other cities (ah, Chicago) so I was surprised and disappointed by my experience. The room was lovely but to get there! Makeshift lobby, stairs blocked off. Go up one floor on an elevator, change elevators to go down to get to the bar. No convenient restrooms to the restaurant. Typos on signs giving directions. I advise checking to make sure construction is completed. Wishing you well, Sofitel, but disappointed.

Not an ideal stay whatsoever. After booking my trip I received an email saying their lobby is under construction. I tried cancelling my reservation however there were no managers available to help. I continued on with reservations and I wish I had pushed harder. There’s no where to sit there’s literally no lobby. I distress. I booked there highest room offer available. The 1 bedroom king suite. This place was crusty and dusty!!!!!! Have you ever taken a shower and still felt dirty after? That was my experience. I will never recommend this hotel or return without a complete room renovation.

I have been staying at this hotel regularly since 2018 and it just keeps going downhill. I booked 2 rooms for my young family and arrived at 2:30pm to be told neither room was ready. After pushing back with the manager , they told me one room was in fact ready. Clearly a room in our category was already prepared so not sure why they would not give it to us on arrival l, especially given we have been great customers over the years. Other room (our suite) was not ready until 5pm.
Rooms are not very clean and degrading fast, despite recent (cheap) renovation).
Breakfast was included in our rate was appalling. Everyone on buffet empty and not refilled despite me asking several times. A couple of hairs on fruit plate.
Will not be staying here again m, which is a shame as well located and has been a good central hotel for many years
