Mijn vrouw en ik zijn net terug van 11 dagen vakantie in het Clara hotel. We hebben daar een fantastische vakantie gehad en hebben vooral genoten van de schoonheid en de rust. Het uitzicht van alle kamers over zee is absoluut top en zij zijn verder heel ruim en schoon en beschikken allemaal over wifi. De badkamer met toilet is ook fris. De gastvrije Grieks en Engels sprekende eigenaar/beheerder van het hotel is evenals het overige personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zij zorgen gezamenlijk voor een leuke, ontspannen sfeer in het hotel Het ontbijtbuffet op het ruime terras is zeer compleet. Er is een mooi zoutwaterzwembad, waarvan het water 2x per dag wordt ververst. Leuke en gemakkelijk bereikbare plaatsjes in de nabijheid zijn Petra en Molyvos. Wij hebben in Petra voor een deel van onze vakantie een kleine auto gehuurd om het schitterende eiland met zijn veelzijdige natuurschoon te verkennen. Het is overal rustig en de wegen zijn heel goed te berijden. Wij kunnen het Clara hotel en tevens het prachtige eiland van harte aanbevelen. Wij komen terug!

Zeer vriendelijke mensen, doen hun best om het je goed naar de zin te maken. Zwembad mooi, uitzicht vanuit kamers prachtig. Hotel/kamers zijn alleen echt aan renovatie toe. Doucheruimte heel klein, douche kun je niet ophangen. Ontbijt is iedere dag hetzelfde, brood vaak oud. Strand anaxos met leuke tentjes op 15/ 20 min loopafstand. Petra 20 min. Taxirit kost €5 (Petra) tot €7 (anaxos) als je iedere keer zelfde taxi belt. Dichtbij hotel is een heel leuk en goed restaurantje: caravan at the sea.

Ruim schoon kamers met balkon en mooi zee uitzicht ook vanaf het grote zwembad naar Petra en Molyvos. Erg goed ontbijt en lekkere Griekse recepten savonds. Gastvrij en behulpzaam personeel. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Very simple, low key vacation. Disappointed from the difference in reality and pictures ( wrong expectations) Nothing organized as activity, only the poolside and without a car is difficult to go around. I had a car, drove miles , but not thing too exiting . The weather was perfect , 25-28c in early October, nearby villages to visit and explore.

I have been here twice, at 2012 and 8/2023. Very nice hotel, clean, good food. Excellent view of Petra and Molivos. It's located on a hill by the sea between Petra and Anaxos. The pool which is 30m from the sea is filled with sea water. Great for family vacations.

We are 2 weeks and IT Was excelent time. Staff were very helpful and always with smille , this is not big resort , IT is I think place for normal People looking for small place but very nice in realistic Greece. Near we have beatiful village Petra and Anaxos , 2 kilomiters , were we can using decks and sunambrellas for free , take only for example Coffee or drink . Places is alot . The See Waterman is nice warm.

I came on a holiday at Clara Resort Hotel, and I was astonished with the spectacular view, the friendliness, the politeness of the people working there. The service was immediate and effective. The room was very clean the linen was superb. The breakfast had a big variety with local recipies and served under the fantastic view. The pool also has a great setting and is with salted water Its a MUST to try the Cocktails.

We really enjoyed our two weeks stay at Clara Hotel! Clara Hotel has the nicest staff who really takes care of every visitor, from the moment we arrived and til we were ti take the bus back. A special thanks to the hotel owner, who explained all abut the sightseeing stuff, beaches and much more. Also the staff in the restaurant were really nice! 🫶🏼 The hotel has a wonderful view of the sea from every room and we woke up to wonderful sunrises and watched the most beautiful sunsets from the restaurant The rooms were clean and neat, pretty minimalistic, but with everything you would need. The hotel has a nice pool with salt water, which we also liked very much. The food was good, we only had breakfast included, but chose to eat dinner there a couple of times too. We got to try real Greek food, which was tasty ☺️ The beach beside the hotel is pretty small, but we enjoyed walking 15-25 minutes to Anexus and Petra beach. It was along the main road, so maybe not for walking with small kids, at least not every day, because it gets hot as well For a three star hotel, this hotel was really really good! We loved it!

Great staff - they were really helpful and nice, they were always there, whatever we needed. We will never forget them! The food was also delicious - I wish there had been more vegetarian options but even though there weren’t many sometimes, there was still always something to choose from. The view was unforgettable and as far as I know every room has it. Everything was clean and comfy, we really enjoyed our stay. There was also a cat Marco that was super cute :)
