But here, in this zen-like setting, the sound of children laughing and playing only adds to the charm rather than detracting from the serenity. Every corner of this retreat is a photo opportunity, and every meal is a sumptuous feast. The ancient gate transports you to another world, and the evening white mist enhances the sense of wonder. The house-made osmanthus baijiu, reserved exclusively for guests, is a refined treat that speaks to the thoughtful touches that elevate the experience. The level of care and attention to details here far exceeds the cost, leaving you feeling truly pampered by the generosity of this guesthouse and its staff, who go above and beyond to make you feel like an honored guest. I was particularly impressed by the staff and their evident training. They were polite, enthusiastic, and fully invested in ensuring that guests had a great stay. In similar boutique hotels, you might expect to see more of the owner’s presence. But at Shouzhou, the front-of-house staff take full ownership of running the property, with a level of professionalism that is both refreshing and commendable. Our journey from Qingchengshan to Qionglai and onward to Emeishan was long, but entirely worth it. We are especially grateful to the young front-of-house male staff and his colleague, who graciously offered to drive us nearly 30 minutes to a location where we could catch a Didi to Emeishan. This kind gesture was the embodiment of hospitality at its finest. I hope more people discover this hidden gem and have the chance to experience its uplifting atmosphere for themselves.

Het hotel ligt op een zeer goede locatie, op ongeveer 20 minuten lopen van Chunxi Road Taikoo Li. De klantenservice bij de receptie is hartelijk en adequaat. Ouders reden met hun kinderen voor de eerste keer naar Chengdu. Ze waren niet bekend met de toestand van de weg en parkeerden langs de kant van de weg. Ze belden de receptie om te komen en hen te begroeten. Nadat ze ingecheckt hadden, liepen ze naar de goedkopere parkeerplaats ernaast. It’s located at the Atrium residence building. The location is great. Firstly, You have to contact with the reception downstairs, they are helpful (but can’t speak English), then they will call the owner and pick you up. So the security is great. The room has amazing view. My room has the view of Taikooli. The room is so spacious and full of convenience. There are just one dislike which is the smoke smell in the room. The owner is so helpful, He will explains everything and give you some suggestions(by translating) I wanna thanks him a lot🙏🏻

Spacious and clean rooms. Heater available in the toilet as well. Bonus: daily tea set, good breakfast, pick up drop off within 3km, washing machine with dryer function. Friendly and amazing service as well! One night, we asked for milk for the children and they delivered!

Good location. As a foreigner I found it to be pretty central so I never had to travel too far to different areas of the city. There are also some cool restaurants and bars a short walk away. The hotel was good with ONE issue - if I left the bathroom door open, cigarette smoke from another room would come into the room. It was very strong - one night I accidentally left the door open and woke up feeling a bit nauseous and with my lungs irritated. It was not a big deal to remember to close the door, and doing that I was totally fine, but it wasn’t ideal. Otherwise, great experience. The receptionists made it very easy to extend my reservation several times as I stayed longer than expected.

I ended up having to do a one light layover.This hotel was beautiful in the online photos good reviews.And I chose it because it because of that and tje airport airport shuttle. Upon arrival, I called for the shuttle bus within 20 minutes.It had arrived at the exit thirteen of the international Arrivals hall of the airport. I will say it does take about 30 minutes on the shuttle bus to get to the hotel, but once you arrive, it's a very well laid out room even for a smaller size room with lovely finishings. On arrival I received a box of milk and bread which I didn't really want but I was very grateful for the consideration. I did see a gym on the property, but I was too tired to go to it.The layout of the property is very nice. And I love the garden in the front of the office very nice
