Отель вызывает смешанные чувства. С одной стороны это прекрасное и уникальное место- пожить в реальном замке, получить весьма необыкновенные эмоции, которым не мешают даже подьем в 4 лифта. Номер буквально огромен! Отличная соответственно звукоизоляция от метровых стен. Но на этом все положительное заканчивается, ибо в отеле системная проблема с сервисом и их много: 1. 0 безопасность днем, ибо кто угодно по сути может из посетителей замка пройти в зону номеров. 2. По факту не круглосуточный ресепшен и даже не с 8 до 20. При том, что говорили что кто-то там что-то сменяет- в реальности никого вообще с 20 и этак до 9 утра. 3. При той цене, что платишь в отеле вообще слышать не слышали о тапочках и халатах. 4. Раздолбанная сантехника. 5. Очень большая проблема зимой - отопление. Без него холодно (ожидаемо), но оно не жидкостное и не тихое конвекционное, оно какое то с диким шумным вентилятором. В результате сильный шум с котором если хочешь тепла- придется спать и это мешает. Регулировать это толком не получается в виду глючности управления. Итого или жара или холод. 5. Проблемы не устраняются. Забилась душевая. Говоришь об этом на ресепшене. Говорят что все сдеоают и никто не устраняет. 6. Посредственный завтрак, не предназначенный для детей, нет кашек и т.п. Итого или соглашаетесь на указанные проблемы и получаете эмоции от проживания в замке или это не стоит указанных денег как в целом отель.

Wow, what a place! This was the most amazing accommodation ive ever been to. The whole atmosphere was breathtaking. People so welcoming and helpful. My only regret is that we had only booked one night there. The fort and Its surroundings are full of surprises and content, so next time I will make sure to spend more days there.

We only spent one night in this hotel, and it is surely an experience we will not forget in a hurry. As a military history buff I was intrigued to visit this hotel, located as it is within the walls of an Italian C19 fortress. Unfortunately, due to health and car problems we did not arrive in the best of spirits having endured a journey from hell, (due also to our Satnav deciding to throw ‘a wobbly’ that day), resulting in our not arriving at the hotel until 8pm. Nevertheless, having phoned the ever courteous and helpful Deborah warning her of our late arrival, things did not turn out too badly. However, be aware that access to this property is not exactly simple or for the faint hearted. Having driven up a multi-storey car park with very narrow roadways, you are then confronted with the prospect of ascending not one but five lifts in order to eventually reach our room at the top of the fort. A task not to be taken on lightly with cumbersome luggage. The conversion from fortress to hotel has been achieved to an extraordinary degree, with reception rooms, lounges and bedrooms all tastefully, if a little clinically, decorated. We occupied a junior suite which was very comfortable, with spacious bedroom, good sized bathroom (with bathtub), together with a small lobby and smaller room with an additional single bed. The view from the window and small balcony of the mountains and valley below was truly breath-taking. However, the site’s functions are a little quirky as it is trying to balance both being a tourist attraction and a hotel at the same time. Breakfast was a little disappointing as effectively what you are offered is the site cafeteria with a few concessions to what you might expect at that time of day. Also, for somewhere so remote, it is unfortunate that there is no restaurant. The reception is only open for limited hours. So, if you want something different, in a fantastic mountain retreat – if a little quirky – give it a go. The memory will stay with you, whatever your experience.

What an incredible experience and not only is the staff helpful beyond measure, but they do it with an incredible smile and fun...make sure you park at the bottom of the big hill...

Dormire all'Interno della fortezza è un esperienza fantastica che consiglio a tutti di fare dove si può ammirare uno spettacolo mozzafiato specie alla sera e rivivere un po' di storia Camera molto ampia,calda, pulitissima Colazione molto buona con brioches ancora calde e personale di sala molto cordiale Ad accoglierci alla reception Cinzia una persona dolcissima e disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta Nostro figlio è stato super felice di aver fatto il guardiano del Forte x una notte😀

Gentilezza e disponibilità fuori dal comune! Organizzatissimi con personale eccezionale! Colazione abbondante e deliziosa con una bella varietà! Dormire nel Forte di Bard è davvero emozionante ed unico! Un esperienza che consiglio vivamente!!

Abbiamo prenotato all'ultimo non trovando posto nelle vicine località sciistiche, devo dire che è stata una piacevole scoperta, la location merita veramente di essere visitata e la possibilità di poterci soggiornare è sicuramente un punto a favore. Personale molto gentile, colazione abbondante e deliziosa . Gli ascensori panoramici sono spettacolari! È stata un'esperienza interessante e diversa dai soliti hotel.
