Gili Air Lagoon Resort by Waringin Hospitality

Het hotel heeft mooie kamers, maar onderhoud ontbreekt. Ze zijn het momenteel aan het repareren, het laat zien dat het al 2 jaar gesloten is. Aris de manager is geweldig, hij heeft ons geholpen met alles wat hij kon en meer, hij is een van die mensen die waarde hechten aan plaatsen. Het ontbijt moet ook weer op gang komen en nog een paar dingen hebben, maar wat er is, is goed. Over het algemeen is het een goed hotel en ik hoop dat het snel perfect zal zijn.

Absolutely gorgeous little hotel! Instagrammable from every angle 😂 Only a couple of hundred meters from the fast boats and right by the sea, this is a great hotel! Cabins are a bit tired, but that is just part of the charm :-) The missing star comes from the breakfast being not only short on selection, but also badly prepared. Live here, and go have breakfast at Kopi Susu in the main street 👍🏻

From our first step into this resort, we were made to feel welcome. All rooms are cabana style with direct access into the most amazing pool on Gili Air. Rooms had very comfortable king size beds with amazing pillows. TV with Netflix was installed and internet access superb. A good breakfast (freshly cooked from the menu) was served next to the second infinity pool overlooking the sea. Nightly films showing on a large screen which is common in Gili Air. Especially nice was the manager and family inviting us to join in with a sing-a-long at night whilst sat on bean bags next to the pool. No, this hotel is not perfect but if it was it would have 5 stars and be much more expensive. The pools, rooms and staff will give you a 5 star experience so please do not overlook this little gem. Unfortunately no longer matches the pictures. Location is just off the main road and is nice and quiet. It appears like they are trying to get the grounds back into shape. Work being done on the lawn/plants and some sort of construction is happen in the center area. Unsure what it use to be but it is a bit of an eye sore now. Bar near the rooms is no longer used or at least while we stayed. Rooms are simple and dated. Clean with great air conditioning. Fridge in room and bottled water. Rooms are dark because of the dark wood stain and not many lights. Wifi is not great. Main pool definitely needs updating and cleaning. Which is unfortunate because it’s great to have room that steps into the pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant area and infinity pool appear to be newer and are great. Great view from the pool. Breakfast was simple but good.

A frequent visitor to Gili Air, I try and do everything local but today was an exceptionally challenging day to find a spot to relax near the water due to a strange wind that seemed to come from everywhere. Thought I’d give this place a go and I was pleasantly surprised given its a tourist spot. Elevated but sufficiently protected the breeze was very nice. Great little infinity pool, great staff, good coffee and food, very clean and with a stunning view of Lombok and boat traffic coming and going. It’s a big tick in my book and worth a go if lounging by a pool watching the world go by is your thing. Enjoy

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room itself was basic, but it was clean. However, the air conditioning wasn’t the best and there was an occasional horrible smell. I suspect it was because the rooms are wooden with high ceilings, making it difficult to cool efficiently. The bathroom was partially open to the elements and showed signs of wear and tear. From a distance, the pool looked gorgeous, but up close, it didn't seem as clean as I would have liked. On a positive note, the bar and restaurant were great. They had live music on some nights until 10 pm, which added to the atmosphere. The cocktails were quite good as well. One thing to note is that we stayed at the back of the grounds, and we could hear the call to prayer five times a day starting at 5 am. My husband managed to sleep through it, but you can hear it, although it's not too loud. Despite these issues, I have to say that the hotel offered good value for money. Its location, just a 6-minute walk from the harbor, was very convenient. In terms of ratings, I'd give the rooms and pool a 3.5 out of 5. However, the staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly, and they deserve a 5 out of 5. Their hospitality really made the stay enjoyable.

Nice Location, Staff Awareness, Perfect Ambiance, We are family with our children enjoying stay in Villa with Lagoon Pool and food so tasty. Good Price, and we think we will return. Hotel is full landscape and quite place for relax with family.... Fresh air good for health
