We hadden 5 nachten op dit resort geboekt. Op de foto’s zag het er goed uit en het kreeg een goede score. Er waren wat negatieve recensies maar die wuifde ik weg. Had ik maar beter hier naar gekeken! Het resort ligt in een woonwijk en dat is dus waar je op uitkijkt. Daarachter, in de verte, liggen inderdaad mooie heuvels. De kamer (begane grond) was vochtig en zelfs nat, rook naar chloor en keek uit op een blinde muur. Tijdens de nacht verdween de chloorlucht en kwam er een schimmel-/keldergeur naar boven. Verder afbladderende verf en loslatende wandpanelen en een zeer basic ingerichte kamer zonder sfeer. Meubels waren vies en vochtig. De badkamer was verouderd en rook muf. De eerste nacht hebben we daardoor slecht geslapen en dus direct erna geklaagd bij de receptie. Die boden een andere kamer aan maar wij wilden annuleren. Gelukkig gingen ze daarmee akkoord en konden wij dit achter ons laten. Omdat de boeking geannuleerd is, kan ik geen recensie bij *********** achterlaten. Deze plek is de naam resort niet waardig; het is een verzameling huisjes rondom een klein zwembad. Sommige gasten moesten voor het zwembad betalen; bij ons was dat niet zo omdat we vooraf gebeld hadden. Het restaurant is middelmatig en veel te duur voor wat het biedt. In de omgeving zijn geen andere restaurants en is niet veel te beleven,. De Spa was gesloten ivm COVID-19 dus daar kan ik niks over zeggen. In het kort: denk goed na voordat je hier een overnachting boekt! Ik zou het vrienden en familie afraden.

Visited Tuscany for a wedding. We placed our toddler and babysitter in Florence Hills Resort & Wellness, before joining them for the final night. We booked the Deluxe Apar**ent with five beds. Our two-storey apar**ent was modern, clean and very functional. The two large bedrooms (with double beds) both had air condition, and yet another was found in the living room. There was a kitchenette with a mini fridge, a microwave and a dining table inside, as well as a spacious balcony. Standards were generally high. This would seem an ideal place for a large family, two smaller ones travelling together, or a group of friends. The pool area was the natural place to hang out during the day. This was clean and tidy, with a kiddy pool as well as a deeper one. For our stay there were plenty of sunbeds and generally a chill a**osphere. Close by there was also a small playground. Pelago, the village, is peaceful, cozy and very Italian. There is a tiny supermarket, a bistro, a few other shops and a bus stop - not much more. But the food is great, you find the groceries you need and people are friendly. Although, if you drive anything bigger than a Fiat 500 parking is tight. I recommend leaving your rental at the hotel and walking the 300 meters to get there. All in all, Florence Hills Resort & Wellness is a nice place to stay, in a region well worth a visit. The crew are friendly, the beds comfy and the general impression all over good. I can recommend going here.

Our stay at Florence Hills and Resort was great! Service was amazing, all staff was very attentive. Nice pool size and outdoor lounging and seating area to relax after walking around Florence. The suite was comfortable and very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed a great meal. We had the ham and cheese board, the risotto with pears and almonds, and the Fiorentina aka a huge T-bone steak.
Can’t forget to mention the astonishing views of the mountains, so calming!

The property is really nice in terms of design with lots of potential but unfortunately it’s really poorly run.
The staff was helpful and kind but there were only 3 people working on the entire place, no receptionist, no concierge, no customer service. I would never stay here again.

I have been there for 20 minutes only. It was terrible. We booked a superior apar**ent for 2 (me and my old aunt) to have 2 separate rooms. Once arrived after 200 km drive they brought us to a single bedroom apar**ent with a double bed to share. They said that had a technical problem and they did not even call us!! We've been offered a discount and the right apar**ent the next day but that is a nonsense to make my aunt which is old and medical issues to share the same bed. Externally the structure is OK with a swimming pool. But I can say the are very unprofessional. The SPA was closed because of covid and it was not reported in the booking. 4 stars? Please... Never again. Never happened in my life and I am an experienced traveller.

Ho trovato questo resort molto rilassante tra le colline Toscane a pochi km dalla bellissima e caotica Firenze . Camere ampie e dotate di una piccola cucina . Ottima la colazione continentale in una sala che si affaccia sulla piscina . Personale accogliente e disponibile . Parcheggio e Wi-Fi eccellenti

Ich hatte einen absolut traumhaften Aufenthalt im Hotel The Florence Hills Wellness & Spa! Von Anfang bis Ende war alles einfach perfekt. Die atemberaubende Lage in den Hügeln von Pelago bot nicht nur eine malerische Aussicht, sondern auch eine ruhige und entspannte A**osphäre. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich, immer bereit, meinen Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
