Agali Hotel Paxos

A great hotel built around a bay just south of Gaios. Nice sized rooms with a view of the Ionian Sea. The rooms were cleaned everyday and free bottle water was supplied everyday. The gardens are well cared for as is the whole place. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool area is clean and tidy. We had breakfast and the daily choices were good. Despite being on one of the main roads there was little noise disturbance All in all a great hotel for a relaxing holiday on a beautiful island

Paxos beach!!! Ο ορισμος της ξεκούρασης και της απόλυτης χαλαρωσης μόλις 1,5 χιλ απο τα φωτα και την βουη του Γαιου!!!!! Μεσα σε ενα φυσικο καταπρασινο περιβάλλον με ωραια παραλία πολλες παροχές και καθαρια νερα. Προορισμός για ολες τις ηλικίες και κανονικές τιμες

Great feeling of 'exclusivity' and style without being snooty or stuffy. No scrambling for sunbeds here! Fantastic location and views, food is excellent, service superb. Most of all, the staff are so helpful and friendly - particular note and thanks to Ellie and Polina, such lovely girls and such an attribute to the business.

We only went here for a few hours as “beach club” guests paying a rate that was for the sunlounger, a non alcoholic drink and the use of their facilities. It was beautiful and so clean and well presented. Hope to return again but to actually stay there next time

The only hotel that has a beach, it has peeble sand wich is difficult, but always an experience!

My husband and I stayed in a seafront veranda room for a week and had a wonderful time. The hotel had all amenities and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast options and coffee great, beach bar with waiting staff brilliant and the food in the restaurant was also good (we dined twice). Beautiful setting right on the beach with wonderful rattan style decor. Not adult only, however contrary to other reviews this wasn’t a problem for us as there was plenty of space to relax around the pool and beach area. Would return in future and also with girlfriends. 10 min walk to central Gaios to the port and wonderful restaurant options. Thanks for a fantastic week Paxos beach, we’re sad to be home!

The website is completely misleading…….there were kids of all ages & nationalities both on the beach & in the pool, often in large family groups. Not the relaxing adult experience that they promise!! However the setting is beautiful & staff are very helpful. We did find the lunchtime pool menu very limited after day two!!

As many reviewers have noted, the setting of this hotel cannot be beat. The views are stunning and with every room set into the hillside, I don't think there are any "bad" rooms. We did feel their website and room info over promise a few things... The biggest disappointment was that the website makes several mentions of this being an adults only stay. My friend and I were ready for a quiet beach holiday with no children. Imagine our surprise when each day both the beach and pool were filled with shrieking kids (including many in diapers) and yelling parents. When we asked at the front desk about the adults only policy on their website, they said that was "for next year." The hotel also boasts "high-speed internet" but I would say the internet is quite spotty with 1-2 bars - though it seemed to be stronger near the pool. Finally, the front desk kept assuring us that "cold things" were available to eat from 12-7pm with a buffet dinner beginning at 7pm. At the restaurant and pool bar, however, we were told "nothing" was available between 5-7pm. None of these were deal breakers for us and we still had a lovely time, but we thought the information online and at check-in was not what we expected or prepared for.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid -June 2022. The situation is beautiful, in a small steep bay with lovely views. The swimming pool, beach and restaurant area area are lovely. The chalets are set out on the hill side and there are many steep steps. Breakfast was simple and good. Advise getting a taxi to go to town. The accomodation is simple but comfortable, with a good shower and comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the second day we were there a bad smell with the drains started. There was a manhole on the path outside which seemed to be the source of the problem. I reported this when we returned up to our room. During the night the smell in our bathroom was horrendous and I rang in the morning to ask if they could put disinfectant down the drains.When we returned from our day trip there was a smell of bleach and things seemed better. We went into Gaios for food and when we got back the smell was returning! It was again awful and by the morning I couldn't wait to leave. No one apologised or showed concern. It really did spoil our experience at the hotel.
