We really liked this hostel, so we stayed again after a Colca Canyon trek. The micro room we had this time was smaller than before. Two people with two large backpacks and day bags pretty much fill it, but it’s juuuust enough space for a short stay. Staff and property amenities are fantastic.

Amazing social place with people from all over the world, tho it has no heaters in the rooms. The blankets help to stay comfortable and warm during the night but I had to take three hot showers in a day to warm up.
Absolutely beautiful from the decor and layout perspective. Great bar, nice service and central location.

Selina zou een hotelketen zijn die oude hotels een nieuw leven inblazen. Het hotel overgoten met een SELINA sausje vonden wij als ouderen wel leuk. Veel jeugd vinden hier hun ding maar voor ons was het ook zeker verrassend .Kamer is zeer mooi en ruim, er waren 4 bedden .Douche werkte bij ons niet maar ik kon onmiddellijk op een andere kamer douchen.Ontbijt is goed.

Hele mooie kamers, lekkere douches en mooie binnenplaats. Wegens het laatste wordt de relax tuin gebruikt voor lokale gebruikers. Dag 1 in de avond is er een stand up comedian show geplanned in het spaans hierdoor zit de gehele binnentuin vol met Peruanen en is er van gasten van het hotel op een enkeling niemand te vinden. Dag 2 begint leuk met ontbijt waar meerdere peruaanse gezinnen welke ook niet verblijven in het hotel een foto shoot van meerdere uren houden en de halve binnentuin inclusief alle relax gedeeltes bezet houden. Naarijn mening gaan gasten voor i.p.v. een fotoshoot. Tijdens uitchecken wordt er amper naar je gekeken en wordt er terwijl er getelefooneerd wordt gewezen naar de kast waar je je tassen neer mag zetten. Hele mooie plek maar wat een slechte service.

Had a fantastic time here. The facilities were top notch and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. A special mention to Nancy who was particularly brilliant!! She had the best advice on places to visit and go out to. A truly memorable place with beautiful people. I would highly recommend here for your stay in Arequipa, 5/5!

A friend told me it was their favourite Selina, but it exceeded expectations. Property: The property is incredible - I worked beside a pool, in a hanging gazebo, and even from a treehouse. Nightlife: With a restaurant, bar, and club that hosts a popular rave every Thursday, I was never bored. Working: My basic home-office has me missing the coworking space they offered. Best I have experienced to-date!. Activities: Free yoga classes, free HIIT classes, and more tours than I could accomplish in 6 weeks will have me coming back. Staff: I saved the best for last, because what made this place special was the people. From Claudia and Matteo (front desk), Rodrigo and Alejandro (bartenders), Alfredo or Wilbur (security), Tisiano (photographer) or Luca and Lucia (management) - everyone of these people made me feel like I was at home.

Run down, unclean, lack of facilities. Despite how lovely this hostel looks on photos it is very run down and not well kept. The pool is unclean and all of the communal cushions are dirty. Our bedroom didn’t lock and the door was hard to open and close meaning you couldn’t come in quietly. Our AVT and white water rafting trip was cancelled and we weren’t made aware until 10 minutes before when we asked about it. We were then advised a refund for this would take up to 20 days. We were also not made aware at all that the water was going to be off for over 24 hours. No water, at all. No toilets, no showers, no notice, whilst they continued to accept new guests who were seemingly unaware too.

Very nice, cosy and spacious room, well working bathroom with hot shower. Professional service, especially the manager Lucia who went beyond expectations for our family. Very good and filling breakfast. Very nice backyard for hanging around and kitchen available for guests. It's quite loud with music and parties all evening (throughout our stay of 4 nights). They were usually quieter after 10:30pm. However, we were advised to take a little bit different room to accommodate us further from the noise. So overall great experience for the price.

The ambience was nice, but the room had a smell when we walked in, there was not hair dryer or phone in the room.
