To whom this may concern:
Last weekend, I booked this hotel stay for my wife and I to celebrate a late Valentine’s day. My wife suffers from contamination ocd and is germaphobic so we are very selective when it comes to sleeping out. We stay at Sonesta quite often, monthly actually, at various locations and twice, we’ve encountered issues at the Parsippany-troy location. On the night of New Year’s eve, my wife and I had just showered and began getting ready for the night when the fire alarms went off. We immediately grabbed our shoes and left the room with all of our belongings inside, not knowing what would happen. My wife was outside in freezing temperatures with wet hair and just pajamas on standing outside for what felt like forever. The fire trucks took a very long time to come, but luckily it ended up being nothing. The second time, which was last weekend, 2/17-2/18, we checked into our assigned room and found blood on the bedsheets, which I will attach pictures below. I called the front desk immediately as this caused my wife a panic attack and we switched rooms immediately. We were given a new room, and at 3am that night, the front desk calls my cell phone in the middle of the night to ask why I missed my room reservation, though I was already checked in and sleeping. My wife and I could not go back to sleep after all of the chaos this weekend turned into. Called front desk ask for late checkout said will call back call never came. How can you have blood on sheets!!!
