"Couples or even groups of friends will find this place to be ideal for relaxing. The abundance of historic homes and artefacts from notable people in the past evokes nostalgic feelings. The staff is incredibly helpful, pleasant, and quick to respond. The only real drawbacks are the unusually quiet floor and the lack of a bidet in our room. The road leading up to the resort is very uneven and dangerous for cars. To make matters worse, they charge extra for extra mineral water, which is totally unfair. There are other hotels and resorts all over the globe where this isn't the norm. I hope this can be reviewed and made better. Not only that, the hot water flow from the toilet is extremely low."

"We booked last minute during Holy Week and was pleasantly surprised to have discovered this place. Initially thought we had just booked 1 room with a common area with other guests but it was actually the entire place with complete kitchen, living and dining room with a huge balcony and 2 full bathrooms. It doesn’t have any other amenities yet but heard they are in the works to construct more rooms, a gym and a pool in the building beside it. It was also such a welcoming treat to have an elevated Filipino restaurant downstairs where we had dinner on both nights. Just note that it opens late at 9am-10am so if you intend to have early breakfast, that won’t be the place for you. Best to just cook in the apartment 👍🏼"

We stayed at La Jolla Resort during Holy Week (April 17–19, 2025), and while there were definite highlights, a few issues kept it from being a five-star experience.
What we liked:
- The food was excellent—everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared.
- The resort grounds and our room were clean and well-maintained, which made for a relaxing atmosphere.
- Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist.
- We appreciated the Holy Week activities, which added a nice, thoughtful touch to the overall stay.
What could be improved:
- The shuttle service was extremely disappointing. Delays were poorly communicated and ended up making us late for an important commitment.
- After check-out, we hosted some guests for lunch, but we were only allowed access to the day tour area, which felt like a downgrade—especially after being paying guests. A bit more flexibility here would’ve gone a long way.
- Our bathroom had some plumbing issues, which was inconvenient and not what we expected given the overall cleanliness of the room.
La Jolla definitely has its strong points—particularly the food and staff—but the logistical hiccups and lack of guest accommodation after check-out need to be addressed to deliver a truly premium experience."

Absolutely no communication/response with anyone from the property despite our multiple attempts to contact before hand to inform of delays & late arrival. However, the couple were ready to open the gate for us within minutes of our arrival, were welcoming & helpful, and provided a WhatsApp contact on arrival and were responsive to our messages during our stay. There are only two rooms so it is very private & looks exactly like the pictures. There are only

The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with modern amenities, including an Alexa-operated system that made everything incredibly convenient. The highlight was definitely the private jacuzzi, offering the perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying the serene surroundings. The peaceful and secluded atmosphere of Rancho Bernardo made it an ideal escape, and the exceptional service from the staff added a personal touch to our experience. It was the perfect blend of luxury and tranquility, making it an unforgettable staycation. Definitely worth every penny!

GGastgebruikerResort amenities are quite great! Pools are well maintained and are varied for different age groups. Schedule of Activities are also posted on the reception area, however they were unavailable at the time we asked for it. Misleading and disappointing. Staff were friendly but there are poor communication in between shifts evident on the lack of endorsement. We ordered food ahead of time, but were served almost an hour late.
There are also a lot of misleading info on the terms and policies posted by the resort online, I suggest you update it as it is a crucial part in making guests informed and comfortable.

JJiana Lou2nd time to go here with the family and it always offers the peace you'd be looking for and cannot find in other resorts. The place is secluded and perfect for those who really want to just have the time off - doesn't matter if you're a couple, a barkada, a family, or even a backpacker/solo traveler. This place is so serene and everywhere you look, you'll find its oneness in nature. The accommodations are both imbibing the nature and modernity.
You might just find mosquitos especially if your room/accommodation is nearby the plants and trees but given the place's nature, it's quite expected. So, just be prepared with a repellant or lotion to save yourself from mosquito bites. Again, the place is great and truly fascinating; however, the food (menu selection) in their restaurant is somewhat limited. Nothing special.
I hope that they work on improving the food as it adds up to the experience in the cove. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and will still be back in this place.

SShainaemHad a relaxing stay at Coralview Beach Resort in Bataan! The food was great, with generous servings at affordable prices. A must-try is their halo-halo—it was really refreshing and delicious! The beachfront location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The Quad Room was spacious and comfortable, but one issue was the bathroom design—there was no drain on the other side, causing water to overflow. Hopefully, they can improve this.
Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d still recommend the resort for a budget-friendly beach escape! 🌊☀

JJoe Trip MorelliThe location is beautiful, wonderful view and nice pools. The standard villa is very spacious with a nice large balcony. The room is clean.
The place looks without proper maintenance, feee breakfast you get almost nothing and dinner is ok and bot overpriced.
The near river is nice but it is not suitable for people without breath doing 700 stairs and not abble to walk on rocks.

Restaurant service was satisfactory, some items on menu being not available, is disappointing and service varied at times slow, Jessa in particular stood out for her attentive bubbly friendly nature always welcoming with a smile. Coffee machine apparently broke down so no back up to even make an instant coffee (i.e., boil a kettle), on our last day
Had to pay a fee per hour to either play darts or billiards (pool) which personally I don't believe in house guests should have to pay.
Check in was efficient as well as check out with reception staff polite friendly and professional.

However, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the restroom, the weak water supply in the room's shower, and the high prices of food. Despite their adorable presence, it's concerning that the dogs are drinking from the pool, which raises hygiene concerns.
